He left Ghana for America in search of a better life. At 15, his dreams were bigger than his age. But one morning, on his way to school, everything ended.
This is the heartbreaking story of Javits Frimpong. 🕊️
Javits Badu Nkansah Frimpong was only 15 when he was fatally shot in the Bronx, New York, on October 29, 2026.
His father had brought him to America in 2025, hoping to give him a better future. Javits reportedly dreamed of becoming a doctor.
But days before his death, his father said he had complained about bullying at school. Then came that tragic morning when he never made it to class.
His father lost a son he had crossed continents to give a better life. His mother was still in Ghana when the news came.
Imagine sending your child abroad for a brighter future, only to receive his body instead.
Fifteen years old. A whole lifetime ahead of him. Dreams unfinished. A family shattered.
May Javits rest in peace. 🕊️
