On My Disk is a personal cloud storage solution that keeps your files secure and private. We are integrating PeARS search into the service to make your files incredibly easy to find, regardless of their physical location.
Once upon a time, a group of developers set out to build a decentralised search engine, so small and efficient that it would run on any computer. They called it 'PeARS, the people's search engine'. Year after year, they occasionally tinkered with their code, very very slowly.
One thing they did *not* do in all these years was to update the world about their work. Because, you know, they are developers and a little shy. So they were especially astonished when they discovered that they had a twitter account.
