This week NPD will have extra patrols to look for distracted drivers. When you're driving make sure you're focused on the road, not your phone or other distractions inside or outside of your vehicle. @kctargetzero

Join us for Coffee with the Chief this Wednesday, 3/22, from 8-10 am at the Starbucks at 13120 Newcastle Commons Drive. @PdNewcastle Chief Kajihiro is looking forward to talking with you.
Last night Chief Kajihiro and MPO Treadway joined Principal Wood and Dean Porter, w/ the rest of the Newcastle Elem staff and parents, for their PTSA Auction. 1 item up for bid was a ride to school with the Chief which raised $1,100 for the school. #issaquahschools
Can you help us identify these porch pirates. They like long walks in your front yard, opening your stolen packages by candlelight and riding off into the sunset in a silver car (possible Hyundia Sonata). Let us know if these 2 look familiar. Thanks.
Unfortunately acts of random violence are becoming more and more common in the world today. NPD is happy to provide this training to our community to help prepare you should you find yourself in one of these situations.
"Gong hei fat choy". (Cantonese for Happy New Year) One thing I learned at the Lunar New Year celebration at Aegis Gardens. Cool celebration that NPD was happy to be at. 1/22 enjoy the year of the Rabbit! NPD supports the AAPI community that makes up 1/3 of Newcastle's population
NPD is dealing with multiple calls regarding trees down over roads, on lines, and even on a house! Thankfully nobody hurt here. Reminder, if you come across a tree down touching ANY wires, please DO NOT TOUCH THEM OR THE TREE. Call 911 immediately and stay put.
33 years ago today, Clark W. Griswold set a new amateur recreational saucer sled land speed record! Well today....... I did not. No, the video is not in slow motion, Andrei, Dan, & Evan all beat me while enjoying a snow day from school. Thanks for letting me race y'all.
