I would appreciate seeing statistics on people outside of public health schemes to get an unbiased read on the situation. Because the recent RTÉ Investigates report excludes all private prescriptions, we don't actually know if numbers outside GMS services are rising. Given that Ireland's population grew by 668,600 people (a 13.8% jump) since 2018, looking exclusively at a scheme that only covers 30% of the population means the media is missing the full picture. Good reporting should show the whole country, not just public patients. That said, it should absolutely show them separately so we can see the true picture. This skewed type of reporting may lead to stigmatisation and polarisation.

What a traumatic morning! Traumatic for anyone looking through my back door that is. I’m sitting here with an iced coffee in my bloomin underwear as the heat is already unbearable. I’m making it ‘bareable ;) Survival protocol Bareitall FTW!

This is a reiteration of a poem I wrote in 2024 after reading the comments to a new person joining a poetry group; they were shocking to say the least. The poem points to the theory that these people often suffer deep seated emotional issues themselves and lash out so that they have company in misery.
Contrary to the Adage that appeared in The Christian Recorder on March 22, 1862, “Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me” I call bs! Just Ask Megan Taylor Meier’s Parents.
Online cruelty is rarely about the victim's poem or post; it is a defensive projection of the troll's own inadequacies.
Hearts Of Stone
For those of you with hearts of stone,
Gleeful trolls upon your gilded throne,
Cutting apart others' discourse,
Have you no other recourse?
You get your "jollies" attacking the meek,
What's the reason behind the attention you seek?
Can you not deal with your own repressed issues?
Shamefully causing others to reach for tissues!
I know who I am,
So hold your weak spam.
Use some decorum,
When you post on a forum.

This poem is inspired by the petty meanness and trolling often seen on social media. Instead of building people up and helping them, there is a malefic tendency to break them down and cause pain and emotional suffering.
My poem underscores the personal responsibility of using social media positively and constructively. I originally posted this poem on a Facebook group after reading nasty comments on a new person's post. Odium est virus socialiter inscriptum! Hate is a socially encoded virus!

🤖 Made with AI
Everyone is saying, "AI will just create new jobs!"
But they are completely ignoring the data. Look at this chart. 👇
The Blue Curve: The skills the average workforce has today. The Red Curve: The complex skills required for the new AI-driven jobs.
See that massive gray area? That is the Displacement Zone.
Yes, AI creates jobs. But it shifts the goalposts so far to the right that average skills no longer cut it. If you aren't actively upskilling yourself and your team right now, you are going to fall straight into that gap.
The market doesn't wait for anyone. Adapt or get left behind.
#FutureOfWork #ArtificialIntelligence
The numbers back this up completely.
I built an interactive simulator so you can test these variables yourself. Drop what you are doing, go to the link below, and watch the curves move in real-time.

To see the exact economic friction we are facing, plug in these current metrics:
🔴 Set Task Automation to 47%
Data shows 47% of work tasks are heavily exposed to automation, shifting the baseline requirement for new jobs aggressively to the right.
🔵 Set Retraining Efficacy to 6%
While 89% of leaders know their teams need AI skills, only 6% of organizations have actually made meaningful progress upskilling their workers.
When you plug those in, look at the massive Gray Zone that explodes on the chart. That isn't just data—that is millions of workers trapped in the structural transition gap.
If your adaptation strategy is moving linearly while the tech is scaling exponentially, you are already falling into the gap.

This isn’t just a cartoon video; it is a memetic counterstrike — humour aimed at the current theatre of fear, grievance, and rage. When politics becomes spectacle, sometimes the only sane response is to turn the spectacle back on itself.
Super Gavin vs The Orange Tumor is ridiculous but so is the political reality it is highlighting.
Mockery matters. Symbols matter. Memes matter.
Laughter can puncture what outrage keeps inflated.

A man spends 50 years teaching at MIT.
He knows his time is running out.
So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour.
He died 5 months later.
This is that lecture.
The most important hour you'll watch this week. 👇

Working on dynamic QR codes today. I want to let users be able to set up their own web server and track statistics, sans IP, because the idea of my app is privacy first. ET does not phone home. However statistics are important metrics when working on a campaign. So I am working on a way to package a simple web server setup to satisfy users goals. The choice to create dynamic QRs is 100% a toggle and not required. The server setup is 100% your choice and controled by you, the user. Check the link. I will be updating tomorrow with the updated APK for Android.

I built QR Studio Ultra because I’m fed up.
Fed up with apps that commoditize you. Fed up with cloud dependency. Fed up with ugly, basic tools.
So I made one for me — and now for you.
Beautiful artistic QRs. Real encryption. AI that actually works. Batch generation. All 100% offline.
Works on phones with no SIM, no network, no bullshit.
This is freedom in app form.
Free. Open source. MIT licensed.

Who else is tired of being the product?

Just dropped the sexiest QR code creator alive.
QR Studio Ultra turns boring black squares into glowing digital art — rich gradients, curved text, neon rings, and AI that actually gets your vibe.
Military-grade encryption built in. 100% offline. MIT licensed. Free.
I built the tool I always wanted.

🚀 Desktop version of QR Studio Ultra is alive.
Just ported the whole thing from Android and the scanning is now working like butter.
I can point my MFP at a QR, hit “Scan QR”, and it instantly:
Loads the image/file
Detects if it’s encrypted
Auto-routes straight to the decrypt modal with passphrase prompt
Privacy-first. 100% offline. MIT licensed.
Still ironing out a few porting bugs, but we’re getting there fast.
Who else wants a proper desktop QR power tool that actually respects your data?

Encryption done right.
Scan an encrypted QR → clean unlock screen pops up.
ChaCha20-Poly1305 • Argon2id • Verified forensic date • 100% local.
No cloud. No telemetry. No bullshit.
This is how privacy should feel.

This isn’t a toy.
QR Studio Ultra is a serious weapon for artists, designers, creators, and businesses who want beautiful, scannable, private QR codes.
AI Magic • Military-grade encryption • Batch generation with scores • Premium SVG exports • Offline forever • 100% free & MIT licensed.
Find one that’s better. Find one that’s more private. Find one that does all this for free.
I’ll wait. (And probably still be wearing my shirt.)

Batch mode is stupidly satisfying.
Paste a list of links (or text) → instantly generate dozens (up to 50) of unique, beautiful QRs with scannability scores, different styles, and perfect SVG exports.
Café menu, event tickets, merch links, privacy pages — all done in seconds.
No more one-by-one bullshit.
This is how you actually ship beautiful QR experiences at scale.

The encryption window allows a user to encrypt or decrypt a payload using world-class encryption. The encrypted QRs can then be decrypted in the App or by using the correct decryption technologies and passphrase. It also employs a forensic date function for evidence of tampering.
Type shit like “cyberpunk neon phoenix rising from digital ashes” and it spits out a full-styled QR — perfect gradients, glowing rings, curved text, and a center image that actually belongs there.
No more generic black squares.
It’s like Midjourney had a baby with a QR code and I raised it right.
