Many of the things we take for granted here in the United States come from a shared history that we need to rediscover and embrace.
We're doing that here under @POTUS
A polling company admits its election data was completely fabricated just two weeks before the midterms, raising questions about how fake numbers ended up in major news coverage.
@JesseBWatters argues Democrats are losing support among key voting blocs, he questions how fake polls made their way into major news coverage and polling averages.
"They always skew a little left," Watters says, before questioning who is checking the numbers and telling viewers, "The only thing that's real is your vote, so go cast it."

True
Margaret Thatcher explained this perfectly back in 1983
The government doesn't have money of its own. Every time politicians promise to spend more, someone has to pay for it
And people somehow still think it's someone else's money
โThere is no such thing as public money. There is only taxpayersโ moneyโ
And sooner or later, that someone else they expect to pay is YOU
A sense of humor and being able to laugh during crisis and chaos is not being disrespectful, it is a way to cope and a great gift.
Every time you are able to find humor in the difficult situation, you win! ๐

Bringing essential healthcare services closer to learners, their families and school personnel, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. spearheaded the rollout of the Department of Educationโs (DepEd) Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) health caravan at Kawmpang Elementary School in Patikul, Sulu on October 20, 2026.
Implemented through a joint inter-agency framework involving DepEd, the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and PhilHealth, the YAKAP School Health and Protection Program transforms schools into primary access points for essential health and welfare services.
During the caravan, learners and school personnel received medical check-ups and primary care consultations for general health assessments and early detection of health conditions. Services also included PhilHealth registration, record updates, ID issuance and health orientations. Essential medicines were dispensed free of charge to help reduce familiesโ out-of-pocket medical expenses.
The initiative underscores the Administrationโs commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of Filipino learners and school personnel, as well as their education.

โIto ang diwa ng Galing Pook Awards โ na kilalanin ang mga lokal na pamahalaang tumutugon sa mga hamon at nakakahanap ng makabuluhang paraan upang mapagaan ang buhay ng kanilang mga kinasasakupan,โ the President said in his keynote message.

Each awardee received a Galing Pook plaque of recognition and a cash prize of Php300,000 from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Addressing a wide range of local challenges, including clean transportation, livelihood support, disaster preparedness, public health, education, environmental protection, and improved delivery of government services, the 10 outstanding 2026 Galing Pook awardees are Baguio City; Bataan; Iloilo City; Pagayawan, Lanao del Sur; Quezon City; Valenzuela City; Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte; Davao del Norte; Malolos City; and Oriental Mindoro. Addressing the 10 awardees, he urged them to continue improving their programs and to inspire other LGUs to adopt and expand successful local solutions. โThe beauty of innovation is that there is always room for improvement... As the needs of our communities continue to evolve, so must the solutions that we provide,โ he added.
In closing, the Chief Executive said the Galing Pook Awards should not only recognize outstanding programs but also provide local governments with an opportunity to learn from one anotherโs successes.
โWe must continue to encourage new ideas and build on the solutions that have already been made and that now feeling the difference in our communities,โ President Marcos Jr. said. @bongbongmarcos ๐ต๐ญ โ at West Hollywood, CA
