हरियाणा विधानसभा में कांग्रेस विधायक सरदार जरनैल सिंह 1984 के सिख-विरोधी दंगों का मुद्दा उठाकर अपनी बात रख रहे थे। इसी दौरान नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपिंदर सिंह हुड्डा के करीबी कांग्रेस विधायक इंदुराज नरवाल द्वारा उनके हाथ से पोस्टर छीनकर फेंक दिया गया।
सवाल सिर्फ एक पोस्टर का नहीं है। सवाल है—क्या एक दलित-सिख विधायक को विधानसभा जैसे लोकतांत्रिक मंच पर अपनी बात रखने और अपनी आवाज़ उठाने का अधिकार भी नहीं है?
क्या सिख समाज की भावनाओं और 1984 के पीड़ितों के न्याय से जुड़े मुद्दे को इस तरह दबाया जाना उचित है?
