1/ Today we're announcing the stable Cua Driver release for Omarchy - a new foundation for computer use, built into the OS from the ground up. Over the last month, we worked directly with @dhh, @SpencerGBull and @vaxryy to bring a native synthetic cursor to Omarchy's Hyprland compositor, enabling true multi-cursor computer use at the OS level. Cua Driver is open source and available at github.com/trycua/cua

Je pense que l’humanité n’est absolument pas prête au bouleversement qui arrive avec l’IA. 2030-2050 risque probablement d’être la transition la plus violente que l’humanité ait jamais connue, et le Français moyen n’aborde JAMAIS ce sujet. POURTANT, nous allons droit vers la fin du travail tel qu’on le connaît, un bouleversement complet de nos vies, de notre utilité, et surtout une période de transition qui risque d’être catastrophique. Parce que le chômage va exploser bien avant qu’on ait un revenu universel ou un système capable de remplacer le travail. Une énorme partie de la population risque simplement d’être laissée sur le trottoir pendant des années, sans emploi, sans vraie utilité économique, et sans alternative immédiatement prête derrière. Nos infrastructures ne sont absolument pas prêtes, nos dirigeants ne préparent rien, on fait encore semblant de former des étudiants à des jobs poubelles qui ne servent déjà parfois plus à rien aujourd’hui alors que c’est juste une question de temps et d’adoption. Et en parallèle, l’IA et les robots humanoïdes continuent à progresser de manière exponentielle. On agit encore comme si le monde de 2040 allait ressembler à celui de 2020 alors que tout indique exactement l’inverse.
