We are grateful to State Senator Pavel @Payano for introducing a resolution designating May 25, 2026, as "Missing Children’s Day" in Massachusetts and to all 40 MA Senators for supporting the measure.
In 2025, NCMEC received more than 32,000 reports of missing children, including 958 reports of missing children from MA. We appreciate Senator Payano and the MA Senate for highlighting the importance of protecting children and supporting families impacted by missing child cases.
Every child deserves a safe childhood.

One of the core missions of the Nobel Foundation is to safeguard the dignity of the Nobel Prizes and their administration. The Foundation upholds Alfred Nobel’s will and its stipulations. It states that the prizes shall be awarded to those who "have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind," and it specifies who has the right to award each respective prize. A prize can therefore not, even symbolically, be passed on or further distributed.
