Every time I hear any news about Donald Trump (who is now blaming Zelensky and Ukraine for high gas process) I want to put on the Tears for Fears song “Mad world”. Any world with Trump in it is definitely a mad world. Good morning from Saint Petersburg, Florida.

As I mentioned before, three of my books, the novel Symbiosis, A Prison Odyssey, and Inside Outside, and Asanas and Other Stories, are being sold at The Book Rescuers Bookstore on 8325 Ulmerton Road in Largo, Florida. @thebookrescuers.

Here’s my health report for Sunday, October 18, 2026. First off, I weigh 292 pounds. Meaning I am still obese. My blood pressure is 132/62, with a resting pulse of 86. Also, my blood sugar today was 127. Better, but I am still working on it.

If you go to Amazon.Com and type “Hunter Trilogy David Wood,” you will see the three books I wrote about wolves in 1960’s Minnesota. It is a trilogy, an adventure that spans eight years and ends in a war between wolves and men.

My novel, Symbiosis, A Prison Odyssey, was published five years ago on Amazon as a paperback and kindle. It is based on my own prison time and experiences and the experiences of several other men. If you read this, you will never see prison in the same light again.

The Hunter Trilogy, Legend, Hunter and Guardian, follows the lives of trapper Jessie Cutter Armstrong and biologist Dean Hoover as they both hunt for the giant wolf they call the Shadow Wolf, who closes leg-hold traps and buries poisoned meat to save other wolves from that fate.

Symbiosis is based on my sixteen years in prison, and is about men who somehow re-discover their humanity in the midst of adversity after committing heinous crimes and being banned from society. It is about how men somehow find and hold on to their true selves, when possible.

Four years ago, I published the third printing of my book, Gnats of Aversion, Ants of Desire, about the efforts of a friend of mine and myself to start the first Zen Buddhist Sangha (The Blue Lotus Sangha) in a Florida Department of Corrections prison, Hardee Correctional.

I have just published my autobiography called The Tree Planter, about my life and my crimes. This may be the darkest book I have written yet, and I have been working on it for about five years. Counting editing, it took about six years.

It took me twenty years to write my Hunter Trilogy. I wrote most of it in prison, starting with a ten page short story, editing it into a five-hundred-page book, editing it into a 1500-page book, then breaking it up into three books, each with a prologue and epilogue.

Go to Amazon.Com and check out my new book, my autobiography, The Tree Planter. I am pushing people to buy it. My beer funds are getting low and I need a little help.

When people hear a lie enough times, they start believing it. Donald Trump is telling lies over and over and over again for this reason. To counteract this, make sure you go out and vote, and tell the truth. Over and over and over again !!!
