Amethyst Class really loved our topic of Pole to Pole this term & were lucky enough to have an explorer come in & share his knowledge. The children all went on an activity hunt looking for hidden flags using a map of the school grounds to locate them!
It’s lovely to be back using Playscape for our Forest School experiences 🌿The pond is an ever changing and fascinating habitat that the children love to explore - sparking interesting conversation about life cycles and growth 🐸❤️🐸🙈
We had a great time in computing week! We explored cubelets, ozobots & osmo apps. The children treated the tech with care and respect and it was a joy to see their excited faces as they explored and learnt through trial and error, teaching themselves as they went!
Jade have had fun this week playing board games, working in pairs to play both with and against each other. It’s wonderful hearing the children developing their listening, negotiating and turn taking skills.
Opal Class have really enjoyed making salt dough dinosaur fossils! They look amazing! We used lots of tools including rolling pins to create our chosen designs. We can't wait to show our grown-ups at the dinosaur museum!

Rudolph, Dasher, Blitzen, Prancer.... 🤔🎄 Who can remember all the names of Santa’s reindeer? We enjoyed making reindeer at Forest School today and every one is unique!🎄 ⛄️❄️
Year 1s in Diamond Class enjoyed exploring teen numbers by making them with a range of manipulatives. This really helped us to see that the numbers included 1 ten and some extra ones. Well done mathematicians!
A huge thank you to @AFRSPaulton Paulton Fire Service for coming to school today! The children loved seeing the engine and even had a chance to try out the hose. Diamond class popped out in their nativity costumes!
Opal class have had another great week at Forest School! We love playing in the mud and noticing the seasonal changes that happen at this time of the year.
How incredible are these sentences! We are very proud of our reception children who have written their first ever sentence this week😍
Risky play at Forest School promotes self esteem, confidence, persistence and resilience. No adult interaction here! Just focus and determination. Physical activity promoting core strength and balance. 🍃💪🙌
