Love this pic of my debut with her accessories 🥹 If anyone has Kindle Unlimited and loves twisty thrillers may I present, ORIGINAL TWIN. *game show hands* (available everywhere else too 😅)
A photo of a book called ORIGINAL TWIN by Paula Gleeson on a table with a magnet and a cookie with the same cover as the book. The cover is a creepy vibe with a large white house and the image of a girl's face that has been distorted.

Pub day is always an emotional time for so many reasons & today is no different. It's always such a long journey to get here w/ so many highs & lows. But the support & sense of community is always the best part of being a writer. So grateful I get to be part of it! 🥹

Publishing is just a series of finding out information via jump scares that have everything to do with you but you are the last to know.

So sad to hear the news about Screencraft. Being a finalist for their feature competition last year showed me how much their team cared & supported screenwriters. They were the best of them. #screenwriting #WritingCommunity

I’m on a river cruise in Europe & when I mentioned to a fellow traveler I am an author, they asked after my titles. Not only do they know my debut, but they’ve read it & loved it. I almost cried on the spot 🥹

Just a reminder that even if someone has an agent or a publishing deal it doesn't always mean that they have "made it". Authors with book deals are struggling behind the scenes too. This industry is never-ending--rejections never end, sub never ends, feeling like you are

not enough never ends. Work on the next project and the next one. It's all we can ultimately control. Trust me, no one's publishing journey is perfect even if it looks like it is.
