Do the rich deserve better healthcare than the poor? Do the poor deserve to be poor and the rich deserve to be rich? Is capitalism simply exploitation?

People talk as if the current economic system is carved in stone, the natural order of things. Nothing is further from the truth. We invented the current system…we can invent something different.

Why is this still the headline when there were 2 other polls saying the opposite?
A new poll puts Brad Bradford narrowly ahead of Olivia Chow as the candidates make pitches on subway delays and tenant protections. #Toronto

So Marine Corps vets who were poisoned only get compensated by the draft dodger if Republicans win.
Trump on Camp Lejeune water contamination claims: "If we win the House and Senate, I am directing the Department of Justice to settle all remaining legitimate claims as soon as possible ... if we don't win, there's no money."

Why have tip rates gone up? Restaurants charge 3X what they used to a few years ago. So the same tip rate generates 3X the tip.

I hate when capitalists are like “but under communism people will have to do jobs they don’t want to do” as if all the people currently working 80 hours a week at three different fast food restaurants are doing it for the love of the game.

The Ontario Conservatives have given us an explosion of homelessness, crumbling schools, hospital deficits, no housing, no jobs…. Do we really want a Conservative Brad Bradford as Mayor?

If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, bailouts, legal protections, and trade barriers to survive? And when ordinary people ask for help, why is it suddenly called socialism?

The corruption is just staggering. Dozens of dozens of pardons being given out to wealthy criminals paying millions for them. The US government is for sale to the highest bidders & DOJ operates as Trump’s consigliere. Have you had enough of this yet America? I know the world has.

Jeff Rath just made a remarkable allegation (yes, I know) on CTV this morning. He claims Danielle Smith bought the Wexit Party's contact list during her 2022 UCP leadership campaign and used it to recruit separatists who believed she was secretly one of them. #ableg #abpoli

The first soldiers to go behind enemy lines in Afghanistan were Canadian JTF 2. They laser lit targets for American ordinance. Ask any REAL U.S soldier what they think of JTF 2, not this asshole. They were followed by PPCLI special operations forces from Canada. You are a liar.
Hegseth on Afghanistan: I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters. It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there. Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations. In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."

Any woman watching this debate knows that Brad Bradford's constant interruptions and speaking over Chow is a typical male chauvinist pig move. He doesn't respect any female. He sees them as inferior to himself. He is NOT Mayor material. He has Doug Ford arrogance all over him.
Brad Brad constantly interrupts to put his arrogance, ignorance and lack of knowledge on display.

MAGA asset Jeffrey Rath has already started spreading disinformation. Counting doesn’t start until all the polls close … at 10 pm. Looks like he’s getting ready to claim the referendum was “rigged.” Right out of the Trump playbook. 🙄
IF this is true this is AWESOME! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Exit polls are actually prohibited in Alberta. You are not allowed to ask how a voter voted within 100 metres of a polling station. See section 105 of the elections act. canlii.org/en/ab/laws/sta…
