John is an unbiased reporter with a knack for finding great stories. His profile of Benchmark today is a must-read!
Greatly enjoyed the opportunity to dive & tell this story: We saw @uscfb hire a Director of AI this summer. Now, @NotreDame grad Michael Anthony’s AI-college finances data company is carving a wide swath in college athletics. Only @usatodaysports: usatoday.com/story/sports/nc…
Love what I saw from @UNCFootball on Saturday. I’ll be counting them as a “ranked win” or “quality loss” for future opponents this season.
While many of you are likely yelling "GO TARHEELS" or "GO HORNED FROGS!" I'm yelling "GO JOHN ANTHONY and the team at On Location Enterprises!"

Of all the backwards logic displayed by this committee, my favorite might be the implication that ND makes the playoff if BYU loses a close game yesterday. They only compared ND/UM H2H because they dropped BYU? Insane way to defend your process.
This missed call was the difference between ND getting a first round bye and getting left out entirely. Indefensible decision by the committee.
What a performance by Boise State tonight. Playoff caliber team IMO.

If you’re a ND or Miami fan (I’m neither), you should probably ignore whatever @timprister believes. His seminal work as a reporter is a 288 page book glazing Charlie Weis as the savior of ND football.
My son Parsley (he/him, 8) just asked: “Papa, why does the CFP committee continue using narratives to explain rankings despite their purported reliance on advance metrics that are superior to human polls in projecting playoff success”
How can I answer this @HunterYurachek ?
If you think ND is too high in the initial CFP rankings, consider where they’d be if the refs called this hold.
Or if Miami’s receiver didn’t make a ridiculous one-handed TD catch on what was otherwise an easy INT.
The committee knows this team is impossibly close to being 8-0
After what happened to Mark Sanchez last week, I can’t blame USC for wanting to keep their players out of Indiana
My son Parsley (8) had an interpretive dance recital yesterday, so I was unable to watch much football. I choreographed his piece, drawing inspiration from Native American traditions as well as “Stomp The Yard”. The soundtrack? Hamilton of course! #DanceDad
