⚠️ALERT: Crypto wallets created with Google or Apple logins are being hit by unauthorized transactions.
Keplr, the main wallet of the Cosmos ecosystem, paused both login options after users reported the thefts.
The incident originated at Web3Auth, the login service owned by MetaMask's parent Consensys, which says it has gone into "maintenance mode due to a security incident."
Web3Auth claimed nearly 50 MILLION users across more than 8,200 apps when Consensys bought it last year, per The Block.
Keplr's co-founder estimates about 20% of its Google and Apple login accounts are affected, but says only "a fraction" of those has been exploited and the rest "may be recoverable."
Wallets created with a recovery phrase or hardware wallet are NOT affected, and Web3Auth says there is no evidence MetaMask users are impacted.

BREAKING: DarkSword iOS exploit targets crypto wallets through Safari
The attack reportedly steals private keys from iPhones after a malicious link is opened, with around $4.06 million drained from wallets across TRON and other networks.

If you're an iPhone user, read this.
Hackers just stole $4.06 MILLION in crypto through cyberattacks that started with just one click.
The victim said they tapped an ad in Safari before wallet apps were emptied.
An iOS exploit kit such as DarkSword is suspected.
DarkSword chains together iOS security flaws to compromise vulnerable iPhones.
Opening a malicious Safari page is enough to steal passwords, photos, Notes and wallet data.
No wallet connection, signature, or approval needed.
Other attacks reported in 2026:
1. Instagram ads
- iPhone was infected while they scrolled past a malicious ad
2. Pegasus spyware
- iPhone was infected without clicking a link or downloading a file.
3. P7 DarkSword
- spyware capable of extracting passwords, photos, Notes and wallet data.
4. Fake Apple preorder pages
- fake iPhone website launched an infection attempt simply when opened.
5. iMessage
- A zero-click exploit infected an iPhone with spyware capable of accessing messages, microphone and camera.
6. Telegram downloads
- modified iPhone apps collected location, device information and screenshots while open.
7. App Store malware
- 2 apps carried SparkCat, which scanned photos for seed phrases after users granted access.
8. Coruna
- 23 exploits used in espionage and financially motivated attacks against older iOS versions.
_____
Now here's what you should do:
• Update iOS and apps NOW. Enable automatic updates too.
• Avoid unsolicited app downloads and configuration profiles.
• Limit apps’ access to Photos, location, microphone and camera.
• Keep seed phrases out of screenshots and Notes.
• Consider Lockdown Mode if you face heightened spyware risks.

🚨 IF YOU ARE IN CRYPTO, IGNORE THIS POST AT YOUR OWN RISK
A friend lost $535,000 USDT yesterday, and he even sent a test transfer first. His wallet wasn't hacked and his keys never leaked. He lost it to a bot.
The test transfer arrived fine. Within seconds, a bot sent 1 USDT to his wallet from a fake address that started and ended with the same characters as the real one. Now the fake address was sitting in his transaction history, right next to the real one.
When he went to send the full amount, he copied the address from that history and picked the fake one. The money was gone in under 30 seconds, swapped out of USDT before Tether could freeze it.
This is called address poisoning, and it's running at industrial scale. The bot that got him has run over 6 million transactions, and it goes after anyone moving large amounts.
Here's how to make sure it never happens to you:
• Never copy an address from your transaction history or a block explorer
• After a test transfer, copy the address again from the original message the receiver sent you
• Check every character, because these bots match both the start and the end
• Save verified addresses in your wallet's address book with names
Now open your wallet and go through your history. If there's a tiny deposit from an address you don't recognize, a bot has already marked you. Tell me below if you find one.
Repost this post and share this to the person you know who moves the most money on-chain.
