A 13 year old boy came into an El Paso hospital weighing 33 pounds. Doctors said he was "literally skin and bone." September 5. His adoptive parents brought him in unconscious. Broken ribs. A fractured spine. Bruises all over his body. His heart working at 30 percent. Staff did chest compressions for 25 minutes. He's on dialysis now, and doctors told investigators he most likely won't survive. Investigators say his room had an air mattress, a torn pillow, no furniture, a lock on the outside, an alarm on the door and the only camera in the house. His siblings had furnished bedrooms. Per KVIA, the pantry was locked too. Court documents say his adoptive mom watched him on that camera going "stiff and limp" and wanted to make sure he wasn't "faking." Timothy and Katrina Sibley were arrested October 7, jail records show, and charged with injury to a child. He's held on $265,000 bond. She's held on $1 million. Charged, not convicted.
