Two 355-metre-high radio transmitter towers in Liblice, Czech Republic, were demolished on Thursday.
They were the tallest towers in the world used for broadcasting in the medium-wave range.

The station continues to broadcast on FM, satellite, and the Internet.

MW DX🇦🇫 : very strong signal from Afghanistan last night (13 Oct) on 1107 kHz at 1835 UTC.
AS usual, my Airspy HF+ Discovery was used for recording, and Wav View DX (v2282) for playing back and analysing the file.
🇯🇵 A new country for me on MW ?!
JOLF NBS Nippon Hoso, Japan, heard on 1242 kHz, 1838 UTC. Rather weak but usable.
