Watching Die Hard with my kids. Let the Christmas movie debate begin...
I really like the idea of using 360 degree video for reflective teacher practices: bit.ly/2PVrpWK
If you've never seen the Statue of Liberty's torch up close (and, let's be honest, how many of us have?), then this might be for you: nyti.ms/2TvSUnX. #AugmentedReality

Capturing an American Icon for Augmented Reality (Published 2018)

For a new A.R. project, we combined 675 photos of the original torch of the Statue of Liberty to allow readers to see it up close as never before.

As an instructional technologist, I understand the difficulties around ubiquitous devices, but sometimes I forget how challenging it is to have balance in screen time. Advice for today: get outside for a little bit and talk with someone using your mouth instead of a keyboard.

Has it really been 4 years since Magic Leap announced their entry into the #AugmentedReality field? Apparently, the Hollywood Reporter isn't believing the hype anymore: bit.ly/2ODtPUf

Has Augmented Reality Pioneer Magic Leap Fallen Off a Cliff?

With outsize promises, the AR company Magic Leap lured massive investment from the likes of Warner Bros. and Management360, but so far its hottest product is hype.

Perhaps the most niche #AugmentedReality application I've ever seen: bit.ly/2FdwNzo. If you're a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and particularly a fan of the "Terrible Towel", take a look.
Interesting happenings in terms of #AugmentedReality and IBM patent filings: bit.ly/2QyrbRP. I'd be interested to find out what constitutes an "undesirable location".
How do you create an Escape Room without walls? Try #AugmentedReality: bit.ly/2DaICE9

Interesting. Perfectly legitimate reason to play. I've just lost the interest. It wasn't engaging enough for me
Great conversation with @thomcochrane today. As PokemonGo came up, I had a question for everyone. How many of you are still playing?

I'm happy that Pokemon Go has opened the #AugmentedReality gates, but can we agree that the way it uses AR isn't all that ground breaking?
