IF current polling is even 70% accurate and Dems take back both the House and Senate, along with seats in TX, OH, and IA, that's a rap for Trump. Stick a fork in him, once and for all. He'll either resign, or just run out the clock, and let Vance take the lightning.
I personally think Democrats take back the House fairly easy. The Senate is harder to gauge. Americans are stupid - VERY stupid. At least 40% of them are mind slaves to the right-wing propaganda machine. They'll sell their kids to a sea pirate if FOX news tells them to.
And that's why I'm cautious about current polling. There are lots of Americans who are bitching about prices and the economy, but plan to vote for the cause (Republicans) all over again. They're know how stupid and mentally fucked that sounds, so they don't say it to pollsters.
Why stop there? Let's privatize fire departments too. Let them make up "plans" for when you have a fire, heart attack or car wreck. America is the only modern country that is still this fucking stupid.
Rural voters had a great deal with world trade under Obama. They chose to destroy it, because they care more about where a trans person takes a dump than their standard of living. That's just stupidity and insanity. Coddling them that isn't, doesn't help, fyi.
Democrats have a generational opportunity to reestablish a relationship with rural voters betrayed by Trump. The formula is simple: Focus on solutions to cost of living issues, including healthcare. Commit to a secure border without inhumane deportations. Deprioritize divisive social issues. No new wars. A more careful approach on AI policy and new data centers. Care about working people.

Texan here. I tend to think Paxton eeks out a 1% win and Abbot wins by 2-3 points. It's possible the bottom falls out, and we go blue. I'm hoping for that. But I know there's still plenty of rubes that will vote for more stupidity here, and in many other places. FWIW.

The polling in TX, KS, and FL is pretty wild. Either Dems are being oversampled due to response bias, or there's a blue tsunami brewing. I personally think and expect the former, because I have zero faith in the American public now.
