Historically, Christianity has recognized the authority of the state to impose capital punishment. But Christians are called to approach that power with humility, discernment, and mercy, never forgetting that repentance and redemption remain possible, even for the worst of sinners.

We should withdraw from the UN.
Since 2015, the UN has passed 188 resolutions condemning Israel.
That's more than twice as many as against the rest of the world combined—Russia, China, Iran, and Venezuela included.
Yet diplomats sat politely through a speech from Iran, a regime that has killed thousands of its own citizens and still persecutes them.
It's not about human rights. It's blatant anti-Israel bias.

Islam is incompatible with Western Civilization.
We should act accordingly… recognizing that as horrific as the attacks on 9/11 were, a much more aggressive war is being waged against us right now throughout America.
The 9/11 mastermind - Khalid Sheikh Mohammed - said they would win by exploiting our commitment to civil liberties, free speech, and human rights.
Our response has been to import over 2 million people from majority Muslim nations who are having millions of kids. There are now over 3000 Mosques in America - some 3X the number on 9/11.
We cannot win a war we do not acknowledge exists.
Sixty-two years and $22 trillion later, the U.S. poverty rate sits at roughly 11 percent, almost identical to where Lyndon Johnson found it in 1964. The government ran the most expensive social experiment in human history and produced nothing measurable. Bureaucracies perpetuate themselves, and this policy worked exactly as designed.
When Washington transfers purchasing power to the poor through SNAP, Medicaid, housing vouchers, and 126 other overlapping programs, it doesn't eliminate scarcity; it relocates decision-making from individuals to administrators. Those administrators develop career interests in perpetuating dependency, because a solved problem eliminates their department.
Free market thinkers identified this perverse incentive structure before Johnson signed the Economic Opportunity Act. Every dollar taxed from productive activity carries a deadweight cost before it reaches anyone's dinner table.
Capital formation lifts people out of poverty. You build wealth through savings, property rights, and voluntary exchange, none of which $22 trillion in redistributed spending actually produced.

How is a hurting world going to find healing inside the doors of a church whose leaders are obsessed with asking questions like “how will we measure the success of our latest venture?” and “how will this play to our biggest donors?”

This 💯
In 2001 George W Bush proposed a partial privatization plan for Social Security so you could put 10% of your SS contribution into the markets.
People rejected this.
We can now see that if it had passed, the 10% that went into the markets would have outperformed the 90% the government managed, the program would be solvent, and the average SS recipient would be receiving 2X what they currently receive.
The worst bet you’ll ever make is betting on government.
