Congratulations to Prof Ludvic Zrinzo on being awarded one of Malta’s highest honours, the National Order of Merit, for his work in #neurosurgery. Prof Zrinzo is based at the NHNN, but being Maltese by birth, also regularly travels to #Malta to operate on Maltese patients.

Our newest academic trainee, @dzkhan94 performing a simulated endoscopic pituitary adenoma excision (and doing a very good job too I might add!) The pump, which @EmDimitrakakis developed, should allow for bleeding should the carotid be injured… #simulation #pituitary
