Full season ticket holder here. It takes us an hour and a half to get to Petco Park on a weekday because of traffic. Sometimes more if there’s a wreck. San Diego county has awful traffic. I’ve done that drive more times than I can count and that’s just for a regular season game. My wife went to every single game in 2022 and 2023 despite how bad traffic was. I’d give my left nut and wait in traffic for 3 hours to watch my home team in the NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES. The problem isn’t traffic, the problem is the fandom got spoiled. I’d also blame dodger stadium being an actual shit hole too. Especially compared to Petco Park.
