The latest version of COVID-19 is an emerging subvariant of Omicron called BA.2.75.2. It’s already gained the ability to evade the immunity provided by current vaccines and can’t be neutralized by many of the antiviral drug treatments available ti.me/3fptcRD

So proud to serve on the board for this phenomenal organization. Returnships create pathways back to work for care givers who have been out of the workforce for an extended period of time. Does your company or organization offer returnships? Maybe they should. 🤔
Fortune reports that employers aren’t offering enough #returnship programs, & we agree! Our own @TamiMForman talks to @FortuneMagazine about how the crisis of women's workforce participation got worse in 2020 & how returnship programs can help solve it: fortune.com/2021/02/17/retur…

The perks a business provides can say a lot about #companyculture. @TamiMForman, Executive Director of @PathFWD, explores how these may be affected by coronavirus going forward ow.ly/DVgS50zPY1O
A10: I talk about my kids and my family and never try to hide them at work. I know we're not there yet but the more we all do this the more it normalizes a culture where you can be both a badass career driven professional and a fantastic mom. #MothersMonday

A10: You may miss opps! It’s okay. But if work is *always* 2nd place, that’s going to be a problem. Remind yourself that your work benefits your family! Financially, sure. But also in terms of building things in the world. (@PathFWD needs me as much as my kids!) #mothersmonday

A9: We went from 1 staff mtg/week to 3. Increased weekly mtg time by 30min (3 x 30 vs. 1 X 60) but worth it for increased connection Also: showing my “stuff”: admitting this is hard for me & my family makes it okay (I hope) for others to admit that it's hard. #mothersmonday
Q9. How are you checking the pulse of employees with families? How does your employer check the pulse of employees with families? #mothersmonday

A8: Prio your own work/life balance. It doesn’t help anyone when coworkers put in a lot of extra hours all the time; it creates a culture of overwork that makes it tough for all caregivers. (And other humans.) If you resent the "slack" you are pick up it's worse. #mothersmonday
Q8. What does it mean to be a supportive team member to working mothers? #mothersmonday

A8: Recognize your bias. Moms often work as many hrs as others but may work them differently. Single folks who work 10-7 aren’t working more than moms who work 8-4 and do an hr of email at night. 6 focused hrs produces > 12 unfocused hours. #mothersmonday

A7: I also worked from home 3x per week and that I did love. Esp while breastfeeding it was key to sanity. More emp should pay attention to that transition. Funny now to consider WFH at perk. What I would give to be able to go to an office! Even for a day. #mothersmonday
Q7. What things did your employer do to help as you returned post-maternity leave? Or as an entrepreneur, what did you do or what do you do for yourself or employees related to maternity leave? #mothersmonday
