Today was my last day as a blood bank tech. I can’t believe I’ve worked here for 4 years while completing medical school. Extremely thankful for all my friends and their willingness to work with my med school schedule!

Similar to IM, lends itself well to medical education. Many many specialties and alternative routes outside of using a microscope. ie transfusion medicine. Molecular. Bioinformatics. Lab management.
