What about the jobs that go with the “big day” are those, the vast majority of which are freelance, disposable too? The florist, the waiters, the caterers, the photographer, the drivers, the wedding dress makers? When is it enough? Who’s calculating how many livelihoods = a life?

Ditto. 💯 Plus a dedicated grant/fund to support wedding businesses. Not based on rates/premises alone, and direct to LA’s that with 6, 15 and 30 guest limits we should still be regarded as “closed.”

How does @BorisJohnson think weddings work? A huge team of suppliers pull each wedding together with lead times of months. Thats how. When that industry has been ignored financially, left with no guidance, weddings will continue to be cancelled or postponed. #whataboutweddings
