Great ad
New Talarico ad running statewide:
"Ken Paxton says, I don't have his experience, and he's right.
"I've never been indicted for fraud. I've never been reported to the FBI for bribery. I've never been impeached by my own party, and I've never given a sweetheart deal to a pedophile.
"I have a different kind of experience. I've worked with both parties to cap the cost of insulin and pass the largest property tax cut in Texas history. I'm James Tallarico and I approve this message because we need a different kind of experience in Washington."

BREAKING: The Dallas Morning News just announced they are endorsing James Talarico over Ken Paxton. The Dallas Morning News had previously endorsed Senator John Cornyn in every race he ever ran. This is amazing.
.@NYCMayor Mamdani on U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI): "His victory...is of critical importance to our city, because what it also indicates is a willingness to chart a new course in Washington that has working people at the heart of it."

The average person has voted zero times to continue the war in Iran. Tom Tiffany voted five times for Trump’s war… five times.
That’s five chances to say “enough.” And Tom Tiffany got it wrong five times.

Will Republicans in Congress be willing to stand up AFTER the midterms to @POTUS's flagrant and impardonable betrayal of Ukraine on Putin's behalf?
And get to the bottom of the business deals Witkoff and Kushner are negotiating w/him?

Trump wants his name on the Kennedy Center, a golden ballroom, and a 250-foot arch. But look where his name already is: skyrocketing gas prices, crushing tariffs, and devastating health care cuts.
Make your plan to vote at: amyklobuchar.com/vote.
Young people can’t afford a house, a decent job, or even gas while the billionaire class keeps growing richer at a faster pace than ever before.
I condemn violence and rioting in every form. But the despair and deep discontent among young people right now is impossible to ignore.

3/3 The Pentagon has not disclosed what control its contracts with SpaceX guarantee. A senior Pentagon official I spoke to last week said they didn’t know. If Musk can throttle an ally’s battlefield network on his own, that raises real questions the Pentagon hasn’t answered.

2/3 That year, another Pentagon official told me of Musk's power over military decisions: "We are living off his good graces. That sucks." Musk said last week Starshield is "owned and controlled by the US government."

Trump’s own appointees asked the government’s election security agency to secretly hack a voting machine and send the results to the White House. The career staff refused.
ProPublica broke this story. Early in this term, political appointees at Homeland Security went to CISA with a request. Buy a voting machine in secret. Break into it. Don’t tell the company that makes it what you find. Report back so it can go to the White House. That’s the opposite of how CISA works. When it finds a weakness, the whole point is to get it patched.
One former official said the plan looked like something they could keep in their back pocket to invalidate any election results they don’t like. The staff kept telling the appointees it couldn’t be done. Part of the reason? DOGE had already laid off the specialists who could pull it off.
This is the agency Trump created. In 2020 it called that election the most secure in American history, and Trump fired the director for saying so. Since then a third of its workforce is gone, states say they’ll never share information with it again, and its election security plan came out at thirteen pages after early voting had already started.
So the agency built to protect the vote has been gutted, and the people who gutted it asked what was left to hack a voting machine. I break it all down in today’s show (link in reply).

Every Republican in Congress had a choice: the country or Trump. They picked Trump.
Vote early. Vote blue. Vote them out. And let’s make sure they are banned from public life forever, and held legally accountable for being complicit. As they should be. #ElectionHeroesVoteEarly

WSJ: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of the military-grade Starlink network used by Ukraine, according to U.S. officials and people familiar with the matter.
Trump and Musk have both expressed anger at Ukraine for attacking Russian diesel refineries, which Trump blames for high energy prices. Last week, Musk capped the connection speeds of Ukrainian devices, rendering some attack drones and interceptor drones virtually useless.
