Didn’t help things in second race yesterday when a horse broke down.
Off the “Turf” @ChurchillDowns today, and despite clear skies above. It’s been reported that there will be “NO MORE TURF” racing for the remainder of the meeting thru 7/4. 🥴

2nd race at CD, #9 threw himself down on ground w Lep. Got up, outriders catch him, throw jock back up, he comes off again. Horse is unruly. After they get him settled down, they lead him in gate, Lep gets back on, they load last 2. Horse runs up track 1/2
