People has had theories that Daemin is a lot smarter and stronger compared to what we're seeing from the early episodes and honestly, I agree. I genuinely feel like we're gonna see his skills unfold a lot more either in future episodes, future seasons, or both. I recently watched a podcast of Dante Basco (Zuko's VA) and Janet Varsey (Korra's VA) with a guest Major Curda (Jae's VA) talking about the series and Major was asked to build his own team avatar with any character from across the avatar universe. What caught my attention was while he chose powerful benders like Toph, Aang, and Uncle Iroh, he chose Daemin as his waterbender. And we obviously can agree that Daemin is... not on their level as far as we've seen. This could mean Daemin is either just holding back, hiding something, or will eventually learn different techniques and from there his bending will be strong. Perhaps he may do bloodbending and/or healing? It'll be very interesting to see if Daemin learns such complex abilities such as those since either will be important from where this story goes. What do you guys think?
