welcome to bizzaro world 2026 where going after weapons makers and banks is a form of racism, something that is objectively insane and something that objectively violates the most basic intellectual honesty but nonetheless something we have to take seriously as a liberal conceit
NYC Council Speaker Julie Menin on this morning’s vandalism of a Capital One branch on the Upper East Side, where windows were smashed and graffiti reading “DROP ELBIT” and “PAL ACTION” was left on the entrance: “What the NYPD is doing now is they're investigating it as a hate crime. They're gonna do a fast investigation; we appreciate their work on this, and the community is deeply concerned and upset about it.”

The 1789 French Revolution, one of the most violent revolutions in history, is celebrated as a crown jewel of European history. Yet when people in France take to the streets today, many of the same Europeans who praise 1789 call their protests “barbaric.”

Your name isn’t Shawn Ryan. It’s Sean Palmisano. You went from the Navy Seals to CIA security contracting to running a drug trafficking ring in South America. You’ve killed countless people and ruined lives, families. You yourself became addicted to drugs, alcohol, pills and overdosed more than once. You haven’t accounted for all the money you made climbing your way to being a kingpin trafficking drugs nor clarified if you were working undercover. You are a demon. Get your posturing in now before you’re tortured in Hell for a thousand years
Good luck—you just hacked X, owned by a tech genius who knows his stuff. I wonder what he’ll show up with instead of a bathroom sink.

I know this is nitpicking, but this France news has taught me that people don't know who Napoleon was. Case in point, this is a scene where Napoleon is, on behalf of radical leftists, executing conservatives, monarchists, nobles, and religious people.
This is how the great Napoleon Bonaparte dealt with rioters. Just saying.

'No man is above the law & no man is below it; nor do we ask any man's permission when we ask him to obey it.' 🇺🇸 President Teddy Roosevelt. Funding a terrorist organisation is a criminal offence in the U.K and here in Ireland. independent.ie/comment/eilis…

This is historically accurate. In May 1924, members of the white supremacist and anti-Catholic Ku Klux Klan descended on South Bend, Indiana, intending to bully and demonstrate their strength in a part of the city with a substantial Catholic population and home to the University of Notre Dame. The KKK’s provocation was a deliberate act so Catholics could be portrayed as a disloyal, unruly & an unlawful mob of disorderly Americans. stories.nd.edu/stories/a-cla…

John Brown was an ultra. He was not about “let’s elect a decent government to help the Blacks, let’s gradually abolish slavery, don’t wanna piss the South off”. His line was “Slavery is a mortal sin, and it must go, immediately. If it requires oceans of blood, so be it. I will defend this position with my body, as I am about the Lord’s work.”

Interesting doc on RTE 2 right now called "Red shadow over the White House" has revealed that the Russian KGB has secret information on Donald Trump arising from a visit he made to Moscow in 1987 where he met some "interesting" people.
