You’re an insensitive husband. Shame on you.
My wife canceled Thanksgiving dinner for fourteen people because she’s going through chemotherapy. I told her nobody was asking her to cook, clean, or even stay downstairs the whole time. Apparently, expecting her to spend a couple of hours with my family while they visit our children makes me an insensitive husband.

1. This won’t work 2. We know it won’t work 3. It has never and will never work 4. Fans need to learn this won’t work
I know the industry will never learn, but I will continue to try to provide my consistent advice on how to avoid this sort of debacle.

There is at least a 50% chance that this person has tweets where they talk about the people shot by ICE as deserving to get shot, yet thinks it is dumb the tiger wasn’t shot because an idiot climbed in its enclosure at a zoo.
So wild beasts get to maul humans to death and we just accept it now A literal evil creature with a taste for human blood lives among us because liberals think killing it would be “bad for the environment” or something
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
A man voluntarily entered the tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park before the attack. The park confirmed the captive tiger will not be euthanised per standard procedures for human intrusion, with no connection to politics or the environment. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/… theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/o… express.co.uk/news/uk/225632… yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/uk-news/y…

Questions only raised by the slimy republicans who are scared to death that their abysmal candidate is going to lose to him. He has the flu. It has been reported he has the flu. Sickness is not a disqualification for serving as a senator, as McConnell has basically been dead

Completely random and he never played for my team, but one of favorite players ever.
The kicks didn’t go as planned, so Dallas Clark stepped in for 150K 😭 He threw it through the uprights to win $150,000 for her AND $150,000 for the hospital 🙌

Oh look, the creepy pedo republican guy is spouting the same mostly made up stuff the other creepy pedo Republican people have been making up about Talarico. Shocker.
Let's talk about James Talarico. The dude is from Texas and apparently hates meat, God and gender. Very off-brand for the Lonestar Republic. Talarico doesn't care how much your groceries cost - he's more interested in his weird obsession with 6 genders. How did this guy even win a primary election? Oh that's right. He was running against @RepJasmine. Make the correct choice, Texas. Reject this oddball.

See the problem is that Republicans have no issue with people having to pay taxes for things we don’t need. We just would rather they pay for people to get food than shoddy pool resurfacing and renaming things to settle petty squabbles by a senile president.
Sure, Jared. I'll bite. First, before we begin, let's establish that nothing is "free." Also, "Government-funded" is just another way of saying "taxpayer-funded." Now that we've cleared that up... Can you explain why feeding children is automatically everyone else's responsibility except the parents? Nobody is arguing that hungry children should go without food. But there's a difference between helping families who genuinely need assistance and making taxpayers responsible for feeding every child, regardless of their family's ability to pay. And let's stop pretending these programs involve nothing beyond a free lunch. Federal child nutrition funding also supports breakfast programs, after-school snacks, summer meals, food procurement, cafeteria operations, staffing, equipment and administrative expenses. Compassion for children shouldn't mean abandoning parental responsibility or pretending public programs have no costs. Maybe before demanding that everyone else foot the bill, we should ask why the responsibility of feeding a child has somehow shifted from the parents to the taxpayer. Answer that -- and we'll really get somewhere...

Obviously we need to be sensitive to racial issues. This is not a picture of a black person tied to a stake. It is a silhouette image of a woman accused of witchcraft.
The Nimitz High School band will stop wearing marching season t-shirts after activists, parents and students complained about offensive imagery. houstonchronicle.com/news/ho… houstonchronicle.com/news/ho…

This is a fascinating story. Need to see this doc.
ESPN's College GameDay is in Oxford, Mississippi this Saturday for LSU and Ole Miss, and the celebrity guest picker is Morgan Freeman. He's there because he's a Mississippi guy. He grew up in the state and has lived in Charleston, a Delta town of about 2,100 people, since 1991. He's said he feels safer there than anywhere else in America. Here's what he did in that town that almost nobody outside of it knows. Mississippi integrated its public schools in 1970. Charleston High School integrated with them. Black students and white students went to class together, played on the same teams, grew up side by side from kindergarten on. But the prom stayed separate. It wasn't school policy. Parents organized it privately. One prom for the Black students, one for the white students, every single year, for decades after the classrooms had been integrated. That was still happening in 1997. So Morgan Freeman went to the school and made an offer. He would personally pay for the entire senior prom. Every dollar. One condition. Everybody comes. The school ignored him. He let it sit for eleven years. Then in 2008 he went back and offered again. This time the school board said yes. Charleston High School had 415 students, about 70% Black and 30% white, in Tallahatchie County, the poorest county in Mississippi. In April 2008, they held the first racially integrated prom in the school's history. Freeman paid for all of it and then mostly got out of the way. He didn't want it to be about him. Not everyone came along. A group of white parents held a secret meeting and organized a separate whites-only prom at a local National Guard facility, and some of them forbade their kids from attending the integrated one. Freeman was clear-eyed about why. He said the parents were the hard part, that they'd settled into a that's-the-way-it-is attitude that doesn't move. The kids were different. "In other words, you can sell them another idea." A Canadian filmmaker named Paul Saltzman heard about it, moved his family to Charleston for four months, and filmed the whole thing. The documentary is called Prom Night in Mississippi. HBO aired it in 2009. The prom happened. The kids had a great night. Several of them said afterward they couldn't understand what the adults had been so afraid of. Freeman was 71 years old when he finally got that yes. He'd been offering since he was 60. On Saturday he'll be on a stage in Oxford in front of a few hundred thousand people, picking football games. He already did the harder thing, in a town of 2,100, where nobody was watching.

Is there like a legitimate reason why Mario Kart is now stuck on 8. Did they erase the number 9 from Japan or something. Also, new Mario games woohoo
Lots of games appeared in the latest Nintendo Direct! Which ones are you most excited about?

The prequels are still terrible aside from a few memorable scenes. The Last Jedi was a fantastic film, and it will one day receive the credit it deserves. Also, we are not as far removed from any of the 3rd trilogy as we are from the prequels when people decided they didn’t suck
For those asking if the Star Wars sequels will ever be appreciated in the future like the prequels eventually did… The answer is a definitive NO. While the prequels often suffered from wooden dialogue and over reliance on green screen, the structure of the story is timeless. It is essentially a Greco-Roman classic set in space— an epic in the vein of Homer and a tragedy cut from the mold of Seneca. The sequels are not mythic in any way. The are self-aware, reflexive commentaries about the Star Wars franchise itself as its object, a film-to-film argument about how the IP should be processed through the lens of the ideology and concerns of 2015–2019. I have never met someone who was kid or a young teen when the sequels came out that feels any sense of nostalgia for those films. I’d be far more likely to wager that it gets officially “retconned” somehow by Lucasfilm than it becomes a nostalgic cult classic.

From the funny goofball side character on a sitcom to leading man worth millions. Can @Marvel ruin my career like they have Pratt’s?
Chris Pratt was a funny, charismatic guy who now almost exclusively appears in bad Jurassic Park movies and $200 million streaming slop, playing the most bland, vanilla heroes who all act exactly the same.

“Hell answers to me” is so genuinely hilarious because one of the defining aspects of Doom’s character is that Hell, in fact, does not answer to Doom
