Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have teamed up with American streamer IShowSpeed to bring Ghana’s independence story to the screen in a documentary called The Eyes of Ghana.
The film follows Chris Hesse, the Ghanaian cameraman who filmed the country’s independence in 1957 and key moments involving its first president, Kwame Nkrumah.
Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Ben Proudfoot, it draws on footage from more than 1,300 reels that Hesse kept for decades.
The Obamas are executive producers through Higher Ground Productions, and IShowSpeed is also listed as a producer.

My honest advice today: if you do not plan to hold the right stocks for a full cycle of 3 to 10 years, meaningful wealth will never be created. If you do not size up aggressively when whales offer big discounts, even owning the right stocks becomes a waste of effort and time — it will not retire you, no matter what most fake gurus on X claim.
Concentrate, simplify, and think long term. I have been in the market since graduating from university and have had real interactions with wealthy individuals across Asia. What I share is how they actually build wealth day after day: inverse retail sentiment, and buy the right stocks at the right time and in the right size. That is what can truly retire you.
Unlike the scammers here, I will never promise to make you rich — nobody owns a crystal ball. Unlike most professional flip-floppers, I will not call the market bullish just because it is up today, nor will I turn bearish simply because of a one- or two-day drop or a one- to three-week pullback.
As always, I remain bullish on the market and believe we are still in the middle of the cycle. Real wealth creation comes from patience, proper position sizing during fear, and staying focused on the right stocks over multiple years — not from constant chasing or reacting to short-term noise.
