At one time, a learned Catholic doctor, engaged Tyndale in a controversy exclaiming,

Self-righteousness is hypocrisy because it pretends the judge and the defendant are different people. Jesus’ picture is the man thanking God he is not like the tax collector (Luke 18:9–14). That posture is already condemned before a single “worldly” Christian is named.
Sanctification does not empty the heart of sin in this life. “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves” (1 John 1:8). Paul is an apostle and still says the good he wants he does not do (Romans 7:19–25). So a Christian who is actually being made holy is the last person who should talk as if the gap between them and a weaker brother is the gap between Sinai and rebellion.
That is why the default posture is mercy. “Restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted” (Galatians 6:1). “Judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment” (James 2:13). Jesus: the measure you use will be measured back to you (Matthew 7:1–5). Log first, then speck.
The qualifier: mercy is not the same as calling sin fine. Jesus is full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Paul can weep over sin and still say “do not get drunk,” “flee sexual immorality,” “put to death what is earthly in you.” The hypocrite condemns from a clean perch he does not have. The sanctified person tells the truth with a limp, as someone still in the process.
So, condemning first, even sins you wouldn’t commit yourself, is always self righteousness. The Christian order is receive mercy, walk in the light, then speak to others as a fellow debtor, not as the bench.

Kirk answered “Too many,” then followed up: “Counting or not counting gang violence?”
Those were his last words.
A single shot from a rooftop 150 yards away hit him in the neck. He was 31. Husband. Father of two.
Dead by mid-afternoon.
He spent his entire adult life walking onto college campuses to argue in public.
He died doing exactly that.

Folks, there’s something we need to discuss, and it’s going to be hard to hear. In some churches, we have an acute worship song leader problem. Many aren’t leading others in singing but performing for others in ways that make congregational singing challenging. When a lead singer engages in rhythmic displacement, unexpected syncopation, melodic embellishment, lyrical improvisation, and vocalization only professionals can pull off, this isn’t leading worship. At best, it’s performance. Or worse, it’s showing off. From now on if this is happening, I’m not even going to try to sing along. I’m going to be quiet and listen and enjoy the show, because at that point it’s just entertainment, and I’m the audience.

Mental hospital. Declared better. Released.
Husband stayed. They had three more kids.
She drowned those three too.
Same house. Same bathtub. Same excuse. Six dead children because a system treated a child killer like a patient who just needed time.
That is the whole argument. Not “was she sad.” Not “did she hear voices.” What happens after you let them out, and who pays for it the second time.
Lindsay Clancy strangled her three kids. People are already writing her a sympathy card and calling prison cruel. Cruel is three little bodies. Cruel is doing it once and getting a path back to freedom. Cruel is pretending history didn’t already run this experiment and lose six kids.
Mental illness can explain how someone gets there. It does not give you a free murder. It does not entitle you to more children. And it does not require the rest of us to wait around and see if the next round dies too.
If you kill your kids, you don’t get to be a mother again. You don’t get a soft landing and a second family. Life without parole. Lock the door. Stop experimenting on other people’s children and making excuses.
Convict her. Convict those who harm children. Period.

Holiness, blameless, love, deep relationship, every spiritual blessing. This is what predestination points to.

Calvinism distorts the meaning of predestination and redefines it to mean regeneration and salvation. At the same time they eliminate or downgrade what we actually get with predestination.

This verse is about enjoying sonship that God promises to all who believe.
Sonship is no small thing. In fact, it is the whole point of the gospel. When you turn sonship into merely regeneration, you miss what the apostle is actually declaring. This versus a promise of deep and intimate relationship with God. It is not a promise of salvation for some people. It’s a promise that we can know Him as a father, and that this relationship cannot be taken from us.
God is wanting us to know Him. What is absent from this verse is the idea of regeneration. This verse is all pointed at relationship with God. None of it is talking to forgiveness.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, [4] just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
See the contact is all the stuff. God wants to give us as sons. The predestination is for those who were already redeemed. Those who were already regenerated. God is predestined what he’s going to give to those who seek Him for salvation. There is no context about God predestining us for salvation. It doesn’t speak to forgiveness, but instead of all the things that you get after the cross. Every predestination verse is like this. All pointing to the benefits that sons get. And sonship being the biggest benefit. None of them point to any aspect of redemption. They don’t talk about salvation. They don’t talk about regeneration. They don’t talk about forgiveness.
But instead, they talk about growth, maturity and intimacy.
The other side that is completely eliminated by Calvinist doctrine from these passages is that they declare that we cannot be holy in this life. Yet this section of verses is declaring that God is predestined holiness is part of your inheritance.

The starting point for me is God's character. God declares He is love, just, and merciful and wants the entire world to have a saving knowledge of Him. I then work my way out from there. My destination leads me to libertarian free will.
If God preordained every act, every atrocity, and unbelief, then people cannot justly be blamed nor praised for what they were decreed to do or know. That makes God unjust.
God loved the world so much that He declared His message would be exported to all nations (Isaiah 49:6) and Christ fulfilled that in John 3:16. Yet even before Christ, God always accepted the stranger into the community of believers who willingly put their trust in Him (Isaiah 56:3-7).
How is it that Calvinists can say that God truly wanted "the world" to have knowledge and faith in Him if He ordained, before the foundation of the world, that He created some to be elected to knowledge and faith while creating others to be reprobates? You can't put a square peg in a round hole.
The total witness of Scripture expresses a God who genuinely invites, warns, gives choices, and holds people responsible for what has been made known to them. The name “Israel” means “he who wrestles with God,” which presupposes an honest ability to wrestle.
He gave us the capacity to approach Him without creating a change in our disposition in order to do so. Romans 1:19–20, and Romans 2:14–16 tells us so. Even Jesus holds people accountable to what they know and believe in Matthew 11:20-24. That is a truly just God.
Love, in its very essence, requires genuine agency from the outset. If God is love, then human freedom is a prerequisite for what comes next. This has been the case since the Garden of Eden.
The reality of God's glory is not dependent upon man having a change in their state of being to acknowledge it. Creation itself bears witness to its Creator. Look at Psalm 96:11–12, Psalm 98:7–8, Luke 19:40, and Habakkuk 2:11.
Can all of Creation know but man be disabled from the same perception? That would be absurd as God created us to be His witnesses as His image bearers.

The red Chinese dragon is breathing fumes. They are desperate for control because they have lost control. Trump did a masterclass with them and took their incentives away from the world market. He exposed them in a way that has them in a panic. Xi helped Trump do this despite the character he plays on TV. The same is true in Russia, and with who is actually in charge in Iran. This isn’t about a doomsday scenario though that is what the Media wants the world to believe. Oh no, this is a reset, and it’s about taking the power back. On the Spiritual level this is about removing the obstacles that you cannot remove yourselves, and allowing you to be truly free to exercise the rights, the Kingdom rights that were given to you. It has been too long, but at the same time this is the perfect moment. As my children continue to rise and shine against the kingdom of darkness so shall it be that the momentum will be on your side, and not on theirs. This is prophecy. The stone crushes the statue and those who stand with me witness the Kingdom Age. Not years, but an Age! Longer than what some preachers think.
It is true that there is a dividing line moment that has taken place in this country. I gave a grace to allow people to show up and show who they truly are. Regardless of the front facing persona they have been exposed to the courts of heaven. Those who live like knuckleheads but truly love people, and have compassion are not the target demographic for what is coming. I can still do a work in them because they love me. This is about dealing a blow to the kingdom of darkness that they will not be able to recover from unless I allow it. So for those who have taken the road of trusting and believing this will seem like a split reality. But I have vetted these people, including you, for years so that when the wealth, and health transfer happens you will not be idiots that trample on what I have prophesied to you, and through others as well. Get fear out. Get the hell out. Get your thinking aligned with heaven and stop believing, or catering to the negativity. You are victorious through me. Let me tell this story and I will reveal my children in the most spectacular way! Continue to do the good work and you will see the fruit of your labors.
Hong election shows they were cheating. But the democrat party is so “good” at cheating that they showed their hand to even cheat against themselves. Enjoy the laughter. It’s ridiculous at this point, and oh what a trap they fell into. Also, this should be noted. They thought that Mike Lindell lost? No, Mike, who I love, said the talking points needed to get the evidence. They learned nothing because they didn’t pay attention. This wasn’t an election. This was a sting operation and they fell for it, hook, line, and sinker.

In a hypothetical where someone had infinite resources and infinite time, what would matter?
What remains that isn't empty?
Like "god mode" in a videogame that instantly becomes boring when there is no longer a challenge.
This is precisely why God must strip our lusts from us.
He invites us to an age where there is no lack. A world like that is dangerous to a soul that still has its identity and cares tied to the foundations of entropy.
If the age to come is defined by the absence of scarcity and the fullness of divine presence, then a person whose entire identity is built on being beautiful, solving problems, optimizing outcomes, or proving their value through capacity... that person wouldn't experience eternity as peace and rest.
They'd experience it as annihilation of self. Not because God is punishing them, but because there's nothing left for that version of them to be.
This cuts right to the heart of why pure hedonism and pure power both collapse into meaninglessness.
If you remove all time, resources, and capability... then everything that derives its value from them evaporates. Achievement, acquisition, optimization, strategy, survival, status. All of it becomes the equivalent of moving chess pieces when you can't lose. The entire game-theoretic layer of existence just... dissolves.
What doesn't collapse?
Relationship.
Genuine relationship can't be shortcut by infinite resources because it's not a resource problem. You can't brute-force being truly known by another person or truly knowing them.
Love that's freely given, not extracted, not optimized for that's the one thing that doesn't become trivial with omnipotence.
Power without relational context is nothing more than elaborate boredom.
Creative expression is one of these relational movements.
Creation for its own sake. Not creation to solve a problem or fill a need, but creation as self-disclosure. Making something because it reveals who you are.
Sanctification is not the removal of wanting. Just to trade it for dependence for dependency's sake... it is calling a soul up to what truly lasts. That which has the capacity to stand at all in a world of infinity. It calls us away from false identities that will betray us when we finally see the age to come.
