Elon Musk becomes deeply moved, and deadly serious, when Bret Baier asks him why he called Sen. Mark Kelly a "Traitor" for pushing to send more US aid and weapons to Ukraine.
Watch every second of his response.
"We should have empathy for the thousands of people dying everyday in the trenches. For no movement in the lines. For the past two years thousands of people have died every week for nothing."
"I take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it. Those who virtue signal and say we can't give into Russia, but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day."
"I have contempt for such people and I want to make that clear. Because they're virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don't have a father. It means parents lost a son. For what? Nothing."

Can't wait for RAM oversupply to cause market fools to throw babies with the bathwater thinking the "AI trade is over" 🤣
Maybe now will it get the attention it deserves? 😅 $ALV.AX
$ALV.AX You know a company is under the radar when even with an 85% move in a day, there are 0 mentions on X.
I wonder if people are finding out, that they sit on the other side of the same rock that feeds the #SerraVerde deposit that was just acquired for $2.8b by $USAR

Quite funny to see $OSK selling off when we're just about to see #Greenland militarization efforts begin
The frontier model companies are responsible for how their products perform in the real world, and their customers are responsible for how they use them.
If a user of Claude runs a cyberattack — especially one at scale — both the customer and the platform will be sued.
This should be enough of an incentive to force these companies (let’s stop calling them labs) to produce safe products AND monitor for unsafe use (i.e. ie hacking).
These frontier models have the option to lock them down… they can require a driver's license, Social Security number/tax ID, biometrics, etc., to use the latest models if they’re so dangerous—just like buying a gun or driving a car. They can monitor the logs of the latest models, too.
Or they can provide anonymous access to their open-source models…there are plenty of safeguards that I don’t hear any of them talk about—which is odd.
now Dario wants to give Anthropic over to a new super government… that he is going to run as, what, high priest?!
Does he know how insane this sounds?!
No one wants a one-world government run by a council of tech monks
Hard no.

In her latest sciolistic letter to me, @SenWarren made it clear that she knows even less about foreign exchange markets than she does about banking.
What is equally shocking, but not surprising: not a single member of the media mob has a rudimentary-enough level of financial market literacy to spot her remedial error.
To reiterate: under @POTUS, the United States delivers for America’s trusted partners.
For a fuller explanation, I recommend Senator Warren take any entry level course in international finance for her and her staff, or I can personally give her a tutorial on Foreign Exchange for Dummies. Although I am not holding my breath, I hope her next letter will demonstrate that she has learned the difference between a currency purchase and a swap or a loan.
Is this the same Hammack that architected the buying of MBS like a drug addict during the pandemic and caused the largest inflation of the last 50 years and also killed the home ownership dream for young families in America? Asking for a friend.

Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack tells Yahoo Finance that the central bank needs to raise rates by more than 25 basis points, and that it's better to get an early start on that to avoid having to make bigger adjustments later.
"Nothing would make me feel better than to be wrong, that we need to change the stance of policy to help bring inflation back to target. But from where I sit, I just don't see it coming back on its own."

After 6 months of getting hammered by the US navy, it's now clear that #Iran is waiting for just the right moment to show what their military is capable of!
Yemenis Hit Saudi Ship Over 1,000 km Away, Proving Iran Avoided Attacking the US Navy
The Houthis have successfully struck a Saudi ship roughly 1,000 kilometers away from their typical stronghold. Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi group targeted the Saudi oil tanker Amzan off the coast of Yanbu, a major northern Red Sea oil port in Saudi Arabia.
The distance from Houthi-controlled northern Yemen to the waters off Yanbu is roughly 1,000 to 1,100 kilometers. This confirms what I wrote a short time ago about the Yemeni arsenal and its capability.
The use of a long-range ballistic missile was confirmed by the Houthis. However, maritime security analysts and Western intelligence agencies raise the hypothesis that the Houthi announcement of a ballistic missile is mere propaganda, and that they actually used an evolution of the Quds-4 cruise missile.
The thing is, unlike a ballistic missile that ascends into space, a cruise missile flies low, much like a small jet aircraft.
And why were some security analysts and agencies wrong? Because the projectile struck the upper main deck, triggering a fire on the surface area.
Cruise missiles, such as the Quds or Paveh families, fly low and horizontally, typically striking the side of the hull. An impact coming directly from above is the textbook signature of a ballistic missile re-entering the atmosphere at a near-vertical angle.
Furthermore, Western warships and air defense radars operating in the region recorded the thermal signature and parabolic trajectory of a ballistic missile launched from northern Yemen.
Why the shock? By launching precise, 1,000-kilometer strikes this far north, the Houthis are effectively demonstrating they can enforce their self-declared naval blockade against Saudi shipping along the entirety of the Red Sea.
And yes, the ship was moving when it was struck. The tracking of the vessel confirmed that the Amzan was sailing from Ain Sukhna, Egypt, to the Saudi port of Yanbu when the attack occurred.
The Houthis had already been using anti-ship ballistic missiles long before this attack. In fact, they went down in military history as the first organization in the world to use an anti-ship ballistic missile in actual combat, in late 2023.
