As a 43 y/o who witnessed both, the entry-level job market is *far* worse in the 2020s than it was in the GFC. With the GFC there were at most 2 really bad years before the stimulus rebooted things. With the 2020s we're on year 5 of the Fed choking the life out of the labor mkt.
Feels like I see bangers with 20K+ likes from noided mutuals way more often these days. Unfortunately just gives me the sense that everything happening on here is now so thoroughly inconsequential they don't even need to hide us in the corner like they did back in the COVID days.

There is amazing🧂happening in the crypto world right now as Coldcard hardware wallets (favored by many "I'm going to own slaves some day" bitcoin OGs) turned out to have a vulnerability.
yeah it's almost like the entire premise of "we do away with the need for any form of trust or social cohesion through TECHNOLOGY" is doomed from the start
What ensures your hardware wallet firmware even uses your dice roll entropy? A firmware bug can just as easily weaken or outright ignore your entropy. And when you're at the point that you distrust your hardware that much, you might as well have never handed money over to the hardware manufacturer in the first place.
