80% of the majority in the Obergefell decision were appointed by Clinton and Obama and confirmed by a Democratic controlled Senate.
Crack open a fucking book on American history next time, jackass.

Gay rights activists literally did this. They swallowed doma in exchange for FDA funding for aids research & medication, they ate DADT to not get fired from jobs. Obama famously was against gay marriage in 08, they didn’t pout, they remembered the bigger picture & got favorable scotus seats under both Dem admins
"I dont know anything about a stepfather" OK so you don't know the first fucking thing about this story then. People just are not buying this shit anymore.
YIKES 😳 Trump snaps at a reporter asking him about why he's dismissing sexual abuse allegations 👇
WOMAN REPORTER: Do the sexual abuse allegations mean nothing to you, sir?
TRUMP: Wait. Wait! Wait wait wait. Slow down. Who are you with?
REPORTER: NBC, sir. But they are very serious sexual abuse allegations
TRUMP: Quiet! Isn't she a fresh person? You're a horrible little reporter, aren't you?

One thing I’ve learned today is that a LOT of Airbnb hosts haven’t realized they’re actually in the hospitality industry, not the real estate industry.

Maybe I'll get a lot of hate for this, but I feel like the support Dems have for the trans community has not been appreciated. I don't know if it's the algorithms, the radicalization, or the dumbing down of history, but it's like the trans community is deliberately misinforming themselves as to what the Dems platform is, and what Biden did for the trans community.
Look, maybe it's not my place to tell a community how to feel about their rights, but I still do not get it. What trans civil rights, precisely, do the Dems not defend? What part of the GOP, not the Dems, whipping up a fear mongering culture war about trans people do they not understand?
Trans voter to @AOC: Trans people in America feel like they've been abandoned by the Democratic Party, that we are a losing issue, that it's not worth defending us. What do you say to that?

Rewatching Rings of Power seasons 1 and 2 before season 3 premieres because it's actually a good show.
Abdul is running a really interesting campaign. It's definitely fresh AND it is also at times off-putting, definitely to me, and I know to others. But that's probably a sign that it is the right approach. It's exactly the kind of politics I was hoping to see more of this year.
Embargoes are not a thing I remember even discussing in journalism school because they didn't really teach us about access journalism, which allows companies to dictate the terms of the stories written about them. If you don't need the access, don't sweat the embargo. Simple.
So Josh Wilding’s negative CLAYFACE review has now been removed from Rotten Tomatoes.
And yeah, this is where things start getting really fucking weird.
Josh saw the movie at a public UK screening. He paid for his ticket. He wasn’t under the press embargo. Rotten Tomatoes accepted the review, let it sit there, and now it’s gone.
So who made the call?
Because Fandango owns Rotten Tomatoes, and Warner Bros. holds a minority stake in Fandango.
Am I saying Warner Bros. definitely called Rotten Tomatoes and told them to pull a negative CLAYFACE review?
No.
But if I were a betting man, I know where I’d put my money.
And even if Warner had nothing to do with it, that still leaves Rotten Tomatoes looking terrible.
They approved the review. Josh wasn’t bound by the embargo. Then after a bunch of DCU fans threw a collective shit-fit over a 2.5/5 review, suddenly it disappears?
Come on.
This is exactly why I put zero value into Rotten Tomatoes.
If a review can vanish because of studio pressure, public pressure, internal panic, or some arbitrary embargo concern that didn’t even apply to the critic, then what exactly are we supposed to trust here?
At this point the call feels like it’s coming from inside the house.
Yeah, this is not compelling at all, right? Why would a mother, whose two adult children have nothing to do with her because of the abuse they suffered in her care, talk about her own daughter like this? People can sense Vivek's cynical, craven instincts here and it doesn't work.
BOMBSHELL:
Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s own mother urges voters not to vote for her daughter.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America.
I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent—and it’s not easy for a mother to say this—but Amy has a serious problem.
She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.
My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that.
Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
That’s one hell of an October surprise.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Donna Arthur lost custody of her children 48 years ago due to poor living conditions and charges against Donna’s husband of child molestation. Dr. Acton has not seen her estranged mother since then suggesting that Donna is unlikely to have reliable insights about Dr. Acton.

"This is not an experiment of you. This is an experience for me." Huh? This is all so misguided. Artists need to not read the comments, but if they do, not respond to them on stage or narrate their actions or, in this case, give themselves credit for showing up to work?
Miley Cyrus considered not doing her second show at the Hollywood Bowl after her first concert sparked "clickbait" criticisms on social media.
"I’ve never heard that I don’t put my heart into something," Cyrus told the crowd at her second show. "I’m a lot of things and we’re not even going to entertain that... That is absolutely not what this is. This is not an experiment of you. This is an experience for me. And you all make the experience possible... Before I came out for ‘Orbit,’ I already told myself I wasn’t going to come on stage, I was going to run away. But never would I leave you all sitting in these seats, unfulfilled from a show. So I can take a lot, but one thing I will not stand is any question about where my heart is when I’m on the stage. I am fully present.”
