Throughout his career, Tabu Ley Rochereau wrote about 3,000 songs and produced nearly 250 recordings. Beyond music, he faced political struggles under Mobutu’s regime, forcing him into exile in France and later the United States. His 1990 recording Trop, C’est Trop was banned for being considered subversive. It was only after Mobutu’s regime was overthrown in 1997 that Tabu Ley returned to Kinshasa and joined the government of Laurent-Désiré Kabila. He later served as Vice-Governor of Kinshasa and Minister of Culture. Upon his death in 2013, his contribution to music and public service was honoured with a state funeral. A musical giant whose legacy lives on! Keep it locked! Stay tuned at jabulaniradio.com

The Constitution does not support "buying" or "selling" people in the name of marriage. I have come across many married couples where dowry has not been paid.
This is very true for the wife don't receive the dowry but pressures the groom to pay , groom painful sweat gone like that , now it's the bride time naye akapitie , convince her family to return it

I cannot emphasize this enough. If you visit someone, try as much as possible NOT to visit their toilet for a long call.

I wish to congratulate whoever discovered that sweet potatoes and beans can be mashed and be eaten that way. Wonderful food!

We don't care what Uhuru thinks or says. He oversaw the continuation of corruption and tribalism that his father started. He stole elections and defied court orders. He took on humongous debts that we can't account for. Why would we care what such a person says?

...devolution remedies that flaw? No,because forces of crony primitive accumulation got devolved and are doing more of what was done at the centre in their tribal enclaves.

The media is an enabler of political thuggery around the voting years by using terms like "kivumbi", "mafahali kugaragazana", "miamba ya siasa kupimana nguvu". Heck, it is not a confrontation or a war, it is a nation deciding its future prospects at the ballot.

If you are intending to marry a Luhya woman, Know the subtribe. This is important. Some subtribes emanate from a lineage of witches, Some from thieves. Some from murderers and cannibals. Some subtribes genetically influence their women to be combative and rude, e.g., Banyore. A Kisa subtribe woman is naturally warm and has a high propensity for fertility. Marama subtribe has good women, but the core Marama woman, what we call "Namukhula", can be combative if you fail to tame her. Approach the Wanga woman with caution. They have a clan that calls its women "Bwibo — Makulu saba." These are dynamite. Bukusu women are malleable but easily attracted to fellow Bukusu men. They don't get much comfort and safety from other men. You can marry her if you are not Bukusu, but if you falter, she will likely cheat on you with a Bukusu man. The Isukha and Idakho are volatile in nature. They can bite your dick off. They are also fertile, sexually electric and chaotic if you fail to tame her. The best bet in the Luhya community would be: • Ba'Tsotso: Kakamega, Bukura • Ba'Marachi: Busia • Ba'Samia: Busia • Ba'Khayo: Busia • Ba'Kisa: Kakamega, Khwisero • Ba'Tirichi: Vihiga, Nandi • Ba'Tachoni: Bungoma, Kitale You will not go wrong with these ones. One simple roar, and they coil back to their femininity. Maragoli are volatile, their fuse is always on emergency. Only Maragoli men can handle them. Marry them if your father owns a tea factory in Mudete. #MasculinitySaturday

I would have supported immensely...but your opening statement is intended to push a narrative...so yes, I'll just mind my own business.

For your information, early Christians were not allowed to read the Bible. Only priests could read Latin and Greek. I have probably read that book more times than those who claim that they are good Christians (who go ahead and steal church offerings).
You are not Christian, and if you claim to be one, you haven't read your bible.

Linga mobali na yo na motema moko! Love your husband wholeheartedly! This lady bwana! Ei yawa! From forging the man's signature to transfer all his wealth to her name when he's on his deathbed, to travelling to the hospital just to peep in to see if he is sick whilst wearing dreadlocks, even Ley is shocked!

This is a full circle moment for Koffi. 10 years ago he was arrested and deported while attending a heated interview at the same TV station. Now he is their VVIP guest, they are rolling the red carpet for him. Everything ends. #RumbaLife
