It's a lie. There's no place or time where that happened. LGBT people won our rights with our own work. We owe nothing to straight women.
Women on twitter love to say this and it's simply not true. The allyship gay men received from women was from lesbians. ACTUAL lesbians, not radfem 'political lesbians'. Straight women have been at the forefront of our oppression, alongside and even ahead of straight men.
