A crash-exploit that was fixed in Paper a few weeks ago is making the rounds now, please make sure to update to the lastest 1.20.4 builds from our website.
If you for some reason really cannot update now, here is a temporary solution to the problem in form of a plugin: hangar.papermc.io/kennytv/Ex…
There is a number of plugins claiming to fix this already, but they either don't properly catch the exploit or also impact normal users.
❕If you are a plugin developer and are using vanilla internals in any your plugins, please test them on the following server jar to make sure they are compatible with future versions of Paper: github.com/PaperMC/testing/r…

1.19 #92 adds API to add custom chat completions, useful for adding stuff like emoji completions!
#95 adds new collision APIs to check for in a world, as well as whether an entity would collide with boats, the worldborder, or any block at another location #ThisWeekInPaper

ALT Graphic divided into 3 sections. The first section is titled "RegionAccessor#hasCollisionsIn", with the subtitle "You give: The box". Below that you can see a minecraft tree, overlayed over it is a red box. Besides the tree is a green box. The second segment titled "Entity#collidesAt" with the subtitle "You give: The location" shows a creeper overlayed over a tree inside a red box, and a creeper not touching the tree inside a green box. The third segment is titled "Entity#wouldCollideUsing" with the subtitle "You give: the box". It shows the same as the second segment, except now the creeper and the boxes are stretched/pushed.
Build 1.19#72 comes with a new extended entity teleportation API! Please note that this API is experimental and may change based on feedback. (🧵)
Vehicle Teleportation:
You can now teleport entities that have passengers by setting the ignorePassengers flag to true on the teleport method. Note that you cannot teleport entities with passengers between worlds.
