I’ve been reflecting on this over the past day or so, and I’ve come to a realization.
Many of my friends on the center-right who are upset with me for making what I believe to be very obvious observations aren’t necessarily angry at me—they’re angry at the implications of what I’m saying.
The idea that neo-Nazism has entered the mainstream, potentially influencing the White House, is so alarming and existentially terrifying that it's easier to lash out at the messenger than confront the reality.
If they accept this, it means that the political home they've invested so much of their identity in, the movement they've championed for years, has become something so morally repugnant that accepting it feels like breaking their own brain.
The cognitive dissonance is overwhelming.
What's striking to me is the selective outrage. Many of these same people are quick to call everyone communists, often with little more than circumstantial evidence.
Yet, when it comes to countless instances of glaringly obvious signs of fascism in their own movement, they either look away or attack those pointing it out.

I post this quite regularly, but with very good reason as every time I do, a few people see it for the first time. Which is very important!
Any'ow.

I see many Tory devotees on here have agreed that one gaslighting line is "they are all as bad as each other!"
No "they" are not. Your lot proved to be far far worse. Disgusting in fact. Venal.
The crappy standards you nodded along with are NOT the norm.
I live in a Labour stronghold, so my vote tomorrow doesn't really matter. But this is another reason why I just can't put my tick in their box.

14 years of Tory pain summed up in 41 seconds of pure fire.
This is like watching Bruce Banner become the Hulk for the first time.

The 1987-88 edition of the @BBCMOTD Goal of the Season competition was unique in that all 10 goals shortlisted were scored by Liverpool players. To date, this is the only occasion where the contenders were made up entirely of goals scored by players for one club.

Surely parents who are sending their kids to private school but can't afford to pay VAT just need to learn to budget?

“Sky TV? Luxury! When I were a lad, five of us were all crammed into nowt but a 6-bedroom 'ouse. No workin'-class friends, and we 'ad to pay t'public school nigh on £25,000 every yeer, for t'elite private education. Aye, I 'ad it rough! And if you tell t'electorate that today, they won't believe you!”

The 'tyranny of the majority.' Let' see how that's worked out over the past seven seasons. In domestic competition, City won 12 of the 21 trophies. Let's compare.
Titles: City 6 Oppressors 1;
FA Cups: City 2, Oppressors 5;
EFL Cups: City 4, Oppressors 3.

We are witnessing the most dominant period in the history of the game in this country. And, yet, City's suit alleges they are being held back. That competition is being compromised. They are taking the piss out of us, people. Taking the piss

Just got an email from The Telegraph…
Asking me how I will shift my ‘output/business model’ when the Tories lose power
My response:
If Switzerland don't win this, I'll NEVER watch #Eurovision again!
I think it is safe to say the season is going to fizzle out now for #LFC. Looking tired and out of ideas.
