🚀 Introducing Instruct-Particulate, our new model for inferring articulated structures from static 3D meshes, with significantly improved generalization to novel object categories and support for kinematic prompting. To achieve this, we scaled our training data 40× and redesigned the model to follow kinematic prompts. The result: diverse, realistic, simulator-compatible articulated 3D assets can now be generated directly from real-world images! 🔗 Project page: instruct-particulate.github.… 🤗 Demo: huggingface.co/spaces/rayli/…

both palatial and rigyd fixed their apps. Palatial left, rigyd right. Palatial got the textures mostly right. wireframes+collision meshes in thread
input vs output we are still pretty far away lol (red are generated collision meshes, I presume the 90 degree flip is just a bug but even then it's not great). I wish the best of luck to all the companies in this incredibly difficult (but valuable) part of robotics sim scaling

Agent-powered simulation generation. Soft bodies, powered in Newton (soon integrated into Isaac sim). Articulated open ended objects, with an interface to improve the outputs. We are expanding to more input modalities next - think chat for physical AI. Join us if you want to solve some of the hardest problems in simulations!
The only way to scale robotics is to scale simulation. And sim is bottlenecked by high quality assets. Today we're releasing Palatial V1.0, the first automated pipeline to generate Sim-Ready assets at scale. Agent-guided and multimodal, it supports soft-body, articulation, and is the first and only automated asset generator for Nvidia's Newton simulator. @NVIDIARobotics Start generating: dashboard.palatial.cloud

the data problem for physical AI isn't volume, it's modality. tactile, contact-rich data doesn't exist at scale. cool to see @PalatialSim and @stevenRSim building the pipeline to generate the missing input layer for embodied intelligence
A child consumes more data in 1 month than any LLM has ever seen. Embodied agents learn by doing, but the data that teaches them is tactile, sensorial and causal. Such data does not exist. To make physical AGI possible, we need to generate this new data at an industrial scale. Enter Palatial: automated infrastructure that converts raw data into sensory rich playgrounds for robots to learn in. Today, we’re unveiling Palatial PhysReady, the first automated sim asset generator (try it ⬇️) [1/5]

very few things matter in robotics this is one of them looking forward to overwhelming the team with API calls

genie is to robotics what opus is to agents. so close to the alphafold moment for robotics. sim-to-real had been waiting for this all along. > genie computes environments > transform frames into gaussian splats (nvidia's longsplats) > splats collapse into low-poly > low poly gets an ultra-realistic touch up with shaders and textures > the whole thing gets dropped in isaac lab where autonomous machinery can learn to navigate complex world at compute cost generate > reconstruct > realisticize > simulate > train just five steps between "genie imagine a warehouse" to "robots know how to move through warehouses" @demishassabis, please open source this (or a lite version). the full robotics community is just a few miles away from infinite training envs. cc @OfficialLoganK @sundarpichai
Thrilled to launch Project Genie, an experimental prototype of the world's most advanced world model. Create entire playable worlds to explore in real-time just from a simple text prompt - kind of mindblowing really! Available to Ultra subs in the US for now - have fun exploring!

Tech Weekend December 2025 Recap: A 48 hours fundraising sprint. Over the weekend we welcomed 165 technical founders from across the U.S. and around the world — building across AI, deep tech, climate, robotics, fintech, life sciences, space, bio convergence, health tech, industrial automation, & other frontier sectors. We were also joined by over dozens of investors across VC Panels, VC Office Hours, Juding the Pitch Competitions, & the Mixers. Several founders who have attended Tech Weekend in the past two years told us that “this was the best Tech Weekend so far.” We agree — not because it was perfect, but because we pushed hard to make the experience more structured, more efficient, & more meaningful for founders & investors and it worked. Congratulations to our Pitch Competition winners: AI Pitch Competition: ☑️ Retention Intelligence, Founder: Bobby Cooper ☑️ Odyssea AI, Founder Ivan Tan Deep Tech Pitch Competition Winners ☑️ BioTwin, Founder Kit Chong ☑️ @PalatialSim , Founder Steven Ren. Last month, we hosted a robotics hackathon in NYC Using 3D printed arms that cost less than $100, people made laundry folders, chess hustlers, guitar players, etc. All with the idea that to create a fully autonomous utopia, you have to do something silly with robots first 👇

On Saturday morning I met some cracked student engineers on the sidewalk and offered them a place to crash in NYC. 24 hrs later, we won the biggest robot arm hackathon ever. Meet Raju: an autonomous chess-playing robot (ELO >2500) inspired by GM Gukesh Dommaraju, who earned his title at age 12. Like Gukesh, Raju is poised for greatness at a young age, having just learned to move pieces yesterday. @snbafana @marco_schonert @AlexBoniske @TalhaKhan_TK_

did we just… largest arm hackathon?!
We just got 20 more robot arms thanks to @innate_bot, putting us at 52 robots. This officially makes this the largest robot hackathon ever. Sorry @sincethestudy.
