Tragic-but not unforseen. Hopefully, in another turn of the wheel, the show lived on for the whole story. Here are some fun reminiscences of when I visited the #WheelofTime set a couple of years ago and how I saw the show's eventual cancellation coming...

It was so fun to go back to my roots to write this one. Love the similarities to #Tolkien's creation myth, too.
Thanks for the opportunity, @nerdist !

Writing about #TheRingsOfPower finale for @nerdist was super fun! Always appreciate an opportunity to talk about Tolkien in nitty, gritty, nerdy detail!
The Rings of Power's season two finale cleverly sets up an important Galadriel moment in The Lord of the Rings. nerdist.com/article/the-ring…

UPDATE: Tolkien journalist and FoF contributor/panelist @PakJaron is going to Moldova this Oct/Nov to supply an orphanage network with food for the upcoming winter. He did this last year and was able to deliver 27.5 TONS of food to HUNDREDS OF KIDS (as well as widows and the underprivileged in local towns) in homes that are struggling with finances as they manage heat bills that have quadrupled since the nearby war in Ukraine began.
Jaron needs your help! He is paying for his own travel expenses and personally donating significantly to the trip. That means he isn't looking for help with personal expenses. He's completely sold out to this and has plenty of skin in the game. What he wants is to do MORE for these kids. EVERY DOLLAR you donate will go to buying and distributing a larger quantity of food and reaching more orphans with more food.
Can you help support the trip?
You can donate at gofundme.com/f/donate-to-fee…
If you have questions or want to give a larger donation, you can reach out directly to Jaron for more info!

There's more “Lord of the Rings” content available for J.R.R. Tolkien fans to consume than ever before, but is that a good thing or a problem? looper.com/1653621/lord-of-t…

Another deep cut piece where I tried to summarize all of Rhûn in a thousand words or so ...yeah. 😅 A lot more there than I realized when I dove in... this show could really have some fun here. #theringsofpowerseason2 @TheRingsofPower @looper @slashfilm
