Exhausted today after a whirlwind weekend trip to the Middle East.
Four dogs are now in quarantine stateside, waiting to go to their forever homes: Jo Jo, Atlas, Creamer, and my favorite, Gracie.
May you be blessed with long, happy lives... and good neighbors.
It was a wild weekend. I arrived on Friday and left Saturday. I barely slept.
That guy in the photo? He's one of the heroes of my life story, even though I didn't meet him until yesterday.
I wouldn't have Lucy if not for him.
His name is 'Ala. He's a vet. Readers of Desert Pearl will know him as Dr. Rashad. Rashad was the name of a veterinarian in Kabul who helped a friend of mine get his Afghan dog, Dasher, so I changed Dr. 'Ala's name to Dr. Rashad — I threw in a few Easter eggs for people when I wrote it.
I was honored to go on this trip to help pay it forward for other soldiers and their war dogs. I was also honored to finally meet Dr. 'Ala.
I left him a copy of Desert Pearl, and by the time I flew out, he had already started reading it.
I did a lot of walking, ate a lot of street food, and spoke a lot of Arabic.
It was an unforgettable weekend.

Not only did he keep and increase Grubbs contract knowing how ass he is but since DeBoer doesn’t coach defense, he is supposed to be an Offensive Guru himself..
DeBoer always carries around a play call sheet so as much as yall don’t wanna hear it, some of those play calls are from DeBoer himself.
Honestly don’t understand how we went from averaging 45 ppg in the first 5 games to barely being able to score 17 and 10 points in the last 2 games.

America is WORSE OFF because the same process is quieter and further advanced. Churches are bought and converted. Parallel communities are built. They capture schools, political offices, and laws from the inside.
They skip the bullets because Americans are armed, so they use ballots, real estate, and institutions instead.
France had 8 mosques in 1975. Now 2,600.
America went from ~100 to over 4,000.
In France, the takeover is still physical and visible. In America, a larger one is already happening from within, and most people still don’t grasp how far it’s gone.

American Pastor John Amanchukwu was forcibly removed by police from the Statesville school board meeting in North Carolina for reading from a book called Push that was in their library
He says there are 453 graphic pornographic books being offered to little kids in the library. For trying to raise awareness about this, he was removed by police
“I'm fighting to remove the pornographic books. There are 453 in this district. The books stay, but I get removed.”
The passage he’s referring to that he wants to read was extremely graphic material about a 6 year old knowing about a man ejaculating inside a woman (but in much, MUCH, more graphic detail)
Other books include minors describing participating in sexual acts and also becoming transgender
