How agreeing to a threesome destroyed my marriage 💔💔
I had been married to my husband for six years. We had a beautiful home, a daughter, and what I genuinely believed was a happy marriage.
Then, one Saturday night, he asked me a question that changed everything.
"If I told you I wanted to try something different in our marriage, would you consider it?"
I thought he wanted us to travel or do something adventurous.
Then he mentioned a threesome.
I was shocked. My first reaction was to ask whether I wasn't enough for him.
He held my hands and assured me that he loved me. He said he wanted the experience to be something we explored together, not something he did behind my back.
I refused at first.
But he kept bringing it up over the next few weeks, and eventually, I agreed because I didn't want him to feel like he couldn't discuss his desires with me.
We agreed that it would happen once and never again.
What I didn't know was that my husband had already been talking to the woman he wanted us to invite.
When I found out, I was uncomfortable, but he convinced me that he had only contacted her to discuss the arrangement.
I decided to trust him.
The night came and went.
For the next few days, everything seemed normal. My husband was affectionate, attentive, and even more romantic than usual.
I thought we had survived the experience without any damage.
Then I borrowed his laptop to print some documents for work.
A message popped up on the screen.
It was from the same woman.
She wrote, "I miss you already. When can I see you again?"
I felt sick.
I opened their conversation and discovered that they had been exchanging messages long before the night we met her. There were conversations I knew nothing about, compliments, private jokes, and plans to meet again.
My husband had made me believe we were making a decision together, but he had already built a connection with this woman behind my back.
When I confronted him, he didn't deny the messages.
Instead, he told me he had developed feelings for her and didn't know how to tell me.
I asked him one question.
"Would you have told me about her if I had never agreed to that night?"
He couldn't answer.
I took our daughter and went to my mother's house.
For the first time in six years, I seriously considered divorcing the man I had built my life around.
He called me every day, insisting that he had made a terrible mistake. He eventually admitted that he had confused excitement with genuine feelings and had underestimated how much he stood to lose.
I didn't return immediately.
It took months of difficult conversations before I could even consider trusting him again.
We're still trying to rebuild our marriage, but things will never be exactly as they were before.
The hardest part wasn't knowing that another woman had entered our marriage.
It was realizing that my husband had been preparing for a life with her while I was busy trying to be the wife who trusted him.
An amazing few days so far @EuroAthletics @birmingham2026 The Irish presence and support has been phenomenal @irishathletics This one has been very special 💚🇮🇪🥇🥈🥇🥉

Just read this beautiful story 😭❤
I live in a 12-unit apartment building. For two years, I didn't know a single neighbor.
We'd pass in the hallway. Nod. Maybe say "hey." Then disappear into our separate lives.
That was normal. That was city living.
Then someone new moved into Unit 3.
Her name was Diana. She was maybe 70, recently widowed, moving to be closer to her daughter.
The first week, she knocked on every door in the building.
"Hi, I'm Diana from Unit 3. Just wanted to introduce myself."
Most people were polite but brief. We weren't used to this.
But Diana didn't take the hint.
The next week, she left a note in the lobby: "Building potluck. This Saturday. 6 PM. Bring whatever you want. Or just bring yourself."
I almost didn't go.
But Saturday came, and I could hear voices in the lobby.
Five people showed up. Out of twelve units. We stood around awkwardly at first.
Diana had made enough food for twenty people. "Just in case," she said, smiling.
We talked. Actual conversations.
Turned out the guy in Unit 7 was a musician. The woman in Unit 10 just had a baby. The couple in Unit 5 ran a bakery.
We'd lived on top of each other for years and knew nothing about each other.
Diana made it a monthly thing.
Then someone suggested a building group chat. "For emergencies," they said.
But it became more than that.
"Anyone have a ladder I can borrow?"
"I made too much soup. Anyone want some?"
"Can someone feed my cat this weekend?"
When the woman in Unit 10 had to go back to work, three neighbors offered to babysit.
When the musician in Unit 7 had a gig, eight of us showed up to support him.
When someone's car got towed, four people offered rides.
Last month, Diana's daughter called me. Diana had fallen and was in the hospital—nothing serious, but she'd need help for a few weeks.
We created a schedule. Someone brought her meals every day. Someone else took her to appointments.
She cried when she came home and saw the system we'd built.
"I just wanted to know my neighbors," she said.
But she did more than that.
She turned twelve strangers in separate boxes into a community that shows up for each other.
All because she knocked on doors and refused to let us stay isolated.
The man with his finger on the red button gives no reason for concern...
None...
None whatsoever...
"I (then state your name) do solemnly swear..."
It was at this moment she knew...
🗣️ “If a fox is being ripped limb from limb and is dying a slow and agonising death - how can you say you abhor animal cruelty?”
🗣️ “These are rural pursuits and have been for many, many years.”

It is little wonder that @MichealMartinTD and @SimonHarrisTD have such disdain for @catherinegalway Time after time she has calmly and articulately called them out.
Did the media collude with the government ?
"no report was ever given to the survivors", they were invited to a webinar, told the governments version, invited to download 3,000 pages

Many of our allies and friends are celebrating May 8th as Victory Day, but we did more than any other Country, by far, in producing a victorious result on World War II. I am hereby renaming May 8th as Victory Day for World War II and November 11th as Victory Day for World War I. We won both Wars, nobody was close to us in terms of strength, bravery, or military brilliance, but we never celebrate anything — That’s because we don’t have leaders anymore, that know how to do so! We are going to start celebrating our victories again!

Here's to the Australian housing bubble🏡🫧
A glittering monument to our collective delusion, where we’ve somehow convinced ourselves that paying a million dollars for a shoebox with a view of your neighbor’s laundry is the pinnacle of success. But let’s call it what it really is: a neon-lit symptom of societal collapse, dressed up in the guise of "the Aussie dream."
Imagine a society so obsessed with hoarding bricks and mortar that it’s willing to sacrifice an entire generation’s future on the altar of capital gains. Young Australians aren’t just priced out of the market—they’re being gaslit into believing they’re lazy avocado toast enthusiasts for not being able to afford a crumbling terrace house that costs 12 times their annual salary. Meanwhile, the banks cheer, the politicians shrug, and the property moguls sip champagne in their negatively geared mansions, blissfully unaware that a pyramid scheme only works as long as there’s someone left to hold the base.
The housing bubble isn’t just an economic anomaly; it’s a grotesque metaphor for a society that’s traded community, creativity, and basic human dignity for the hollow promise of eternal equity growth. We’ve turned homes into speculative assets, neighbors into competitors, and the future into a Ponzi scheme. And when the bubble finally bursts—because all bubbles do—we’ll be left staring at the rubble, wondering how we ever thought this was sustainable.
So here’s to the Australian housing bubble🍾
