My friend's boyfriend has been to eleven of our last twelve girl nights, and yes, I counted.
Four of us have watched the same bad dating show every Sunday for three years. She added him to the group chat "for the schedule" and now he comes to everything, with good chips. He's nice. He also laughs at the wrong parts. Two weeks ago one of us was going to tell the group she got laid off. Then my friend walked in with him and the news never came out. We just watched the show.

I dislike introverts who need to be told everything multiple times when in a group setting. You have to keep offering them food, try hard to engage them and check on them to ensure they are ok. They will just sit quietly in a corner and you will never know if they are ok or not, or if they are upset or need care. I hate doing that labour for them.
