I just spent an hour moderating comments like these so that the content on our social platforms aligns with our club values at @CollingwoodFC.
I deleted 333 comments on Facebook alone.
It's sad that as a content producer, I'm scared to post content that promotes inclusivity.
If you’re an athlete or brand heading to the Winter Olympics and need content - this is your sign 👋📸❄️
I’ll be in Italy this February, on the ground, working with athletes and brands who want their stories told properly.
Flights + accommodation are locked in. Let’s talk.

My stream of consciousness:
:01 Turn left, look alive
:02 Get JT side profile or you’ll lose it
:07 Back pedal, keep sight of Bron
:08/:11 Zoom on cues
:13 Okay Steph turned, turn cam next (head swiveled at :12)
:15 Hug Bron’s right side (he pivots left)
When you work for yourself, dealing with rejection can be really tough.
As I continue on my entrepreneurial journey, I’m realising you fail a lot more often than you succeed. But hey, that’s what I signed up for!
This season I’ve had the privilege of bringing to life the stories of the @MelbMavericks alongside Matt. However, these learnings about rejection haven’t come from my experiences with the Mavs. If anything, the Mavs give Matt and I incredible creative freedom…and it is awesome.
I’m trying something different…
Late last year I was fired from a job I loved. It’s led me to pursue an entrepreneurial adventure - starting my own athlete focused digital agency.
I figured if I’m going to help athletes tell their stories, I should probably tell mine too!
I’m super excited to be joining the @MelbMavericks as Social Media Manager for season 2024! Extremely fortunate to be given the opportunity to bring to life the amazing journey this team has / will go on this season.
GO MAVS.
How to successfully run a sports social media account in 2024:

My time at Collingwood has come to an end 🖤🤍
I’m eternally grateful for the opportunities, the friends and the memories. Working for Collingwood was an absolute privilege, something I never took for granted and will always look back fondly on.
One of the best blokes you'll meet!
Ruckman Max Lynch has announced his retirement.
A much-loved teammate and even better person, we wish Lynchy all the best in the future. 💛🤎
