Our coding agent filed 68 GitHub issues. Nobody read them. In September another agent checked each one against the code and closed 33. New rule: an issue is for something that needs a decision or a fix. Everything else is one line in a backlog file.

I run Paddock solo and part time. Claude drafts. Code builds. I approve in about 30 minutes a day. The trick is an old program manager habit: every task gets a one-page brief. Goal, exact wording, hard rules, what not to touch, how it proves it worked.

The only content number we track: how many times someone else publishes a figure and attributes it to paddock.finance. Not followers. Not impressions. Three so far. Six by the end of December.

How we do outreach for Paddock. One named person a week. One real pull of data built for them. The only thing we ask for is a citation to paddock.finance with the as-of date. No lists. No sequences.

We proposed a response shape for pre-payment verifiers to the x402 working group: verdict, reason, evidence, digest, mapping. Four review rounds. A second verifier has already implemented it live. Any verifier can return it. Any agent can read it. github.com/x402-foundation/w…

Your agent found an API on its own and is about to pay it. paddock.finance/check. Paste the seller's domain or URL and see what that seller looks like before the money moves. Agent payments have no chargeback. Check first.

Before a bank transfer, Plaid confirms the account is real and belongs to who you think. Before an agent pays an API, nobody does. Paddock does. One call reads the seller's live 402 and checks the wallet, price and settlement history. Free key: paddock.finance/docs

Agent payments have no chargeback. Paddock is pre-payment verification for AI agents. Corrente Labs just published a research dispatch on pre-flight route verification, wiring verify_before_pay into their buyer-side pre-signing check before agents settle. correntelabs.com/research-pr…

We tried to pay through Mercator today with our own funded wallet. Ranking and pricing worked. The payment didn't, twice, on two different sellers. Wrote up what that means for anyone trusting a router to check what it picks. xitter.cf/PaddockFinance/status/…
