Don’t misunderstand.
Pro players are typically on layer 10. Countering this stuff is layer 1 and usually requires reverting to an older meta.

I fail to understand why professional players struggle to counter things that everyone on 1600 mr do daily
Thats why a lot of things gets labeled ''strong'' when pro player simple refuse to deal with them
This just sounds like you don’t know how to use framedata in modern games. In SF6, knowing when you’re +11, and intentionally making it so you are, is extremely important.
Identifying when the opponent is setting up a +11 can also affect your defensive decision making.

In more modern games you can know frame data like the ave Maria as we say in Italy and you're still fucked cause it's a 50/50 and that knowledge ain't saving you. You can know that at -2 up close you can't mash, but that's all you'll ever know and need it for. 2/2
I’m not confusing anything. If you knew frame data for any fighting you played back in the day, the way we do now, those games would have been vastly more optimised and optimised much quicker.

I think you confuse frame advantage with actually knowing frame data like we do know ... we didnt count the frames back in the day. We just knew who's turn it was.
It’s even funny because SF footsies is mostly bullshit anyway.
You seen ST? Alpha series? 3s? 4?
There are SOME characters in all SF games that play “footsies” and a bunch that “ignore” “footsies.”
