To those clamoring for #NFL conference championship games to be played indoors at neutral sites, I can only offer the narration of the great John Facenda. If we lose the elements, we lose some of the great storylines and history.

Who woulda thought allowing world class, marquee athletes play a contact sport in a 3rd world hellhole might lead to injuries? Every day Jordan Love is hurt should be an indictment on the @NFL #jordanlove #GBvsPHI #GoPackGo #Brazil
Here’s a look at the turf in Brazil after tonight’s game and…. yeah.

Packers 2023: First-year starting QB; Cheapest WR group in NFL; Cheapest TE group in NFL; $41M Dead Cap charge for Aaron Rodgers; For much of year: no RB1, CB1, CB2, OL1, WR1,TE1; Win at home vs. Bears next week, and make the playoffs. Not bad for a rebuilding year with new QB.

For the second consecutive home game, police made no arrests at Lambeau Field. That hasn't happened in, checks notes, forever? At least 27 years. There have been only five arrests and 17 ejections in five games so far. Very good numbers. #Packers

🗣️📢One last time - real loud If/when the Green Bay Packers move on from David Bakhtiari they will be left with a $19,083,017 cap hit in 2024 regardless if cut, traded (yeah right), retires, etc. Could see slight savings if he misses enough 2023 games for insurance to kick in.

With an Achilles tear, Aaron Rodgers season would be over. The MRI will tell the full story. But there is not optimism.
#Jets believe it’s an Achilles injury for QB Aaron Rodgers, source say. MRI tomorrow.

On this day in 1966, #Packers coach and general manager Vince Lombardi floated a most remarkable idea. We’re thinking about building a dome over Lambeau Field, he said.

The #Packers did not release anyone today, according to the NFL's transaction wire. That means they did some contract restructuring to get under the cap, most likely with WR Randall Cobb. Possibly others.
