The Kenya International Freight and Warehousing Association (KIFWA), together with Britam, Old Mutual, CIC, APA, Pacis and Dynamique, has launched a Digital Marine Cargo Insurance platform ahead of its July 1, 2026 rollout. The platform is designed to digitise and simplify marine cargo insurance while supporting compliance with the requirement that all imported cargo be covered under locally issued insurance policies.
