#MarshallIslands calls for a #FossilFuelTreaty at @UN #SIDS4! 🇲🇭
This Pacific nation, a leader in climate action, echoes the spirit of nuclear non-proliferation by taking on new weapons of mass destruction—fossil fuels.

Thank you @jeromelaxale and @SallySitou for raising your concerns about the future of gas strategy.
Two excellent local members, both elected at the last election off the back of growing climate concern in their communities.

ALT “I believe we need to be moving away from fossil fuels, not championing them. Thankfully the reality on the ground is that’s what people are doing” Jerome Laxale MP “I care deeply about action to address climate change, it’s the reason I put my hand up to run for federal parliament“ Sally Sitou MP

Any carbon credits from the Great Koala National Park would be a sham. The NSW Gov wants to make money for merely enacting a long term policy. This offers no genuine additional emissions reduction-but the credits would be sold to business as a license for climate pollution.
Our new video report uncovers the convoluted scheme to generate carbon credits in native forests in NSW, while logging them in the meantime.
