The next two weeks (before the end of the CA legislative season) are critical in our push for meaningful funding for wildfire mitigation. Along with our partners, we'll have a couple billboards up around Sacramento. We all need to let our reps know how important this funding is.
We talk a lot about the ecosystem benefits of well-managed forests, but don't forget about the personal benefits of spending time in forests.
From boosting your immune system, to lowering blood pressure, to reducing stress hormones, forests clearly make us happier & healthier.
